Is it easy to remove the grills for cleaning?

ceramic grill plates do not remove, but still very easy to clean. clean it when it is HOT ! a simple wipe with wet cloth will do the trick. Being very easy to clean is one of it's best atributes !
 if you under-cook your waffle and try to remove it early, you will have issues as with any other waffle maker . Look for steam as an indicator of doneness,when the steam subsides (around 6-7 minutes) your waffle is done. flip the unit at least twice during cooking for great, even results.
