Great product that works well
The Dummy Load resistors worked very well and did what I needed to test my Amplifier. They are heavy and built into solid metal housings. Great product.

Good product, easy to mount, compact.
I've got one of these bolted to the metal frame of my workbench and routinely use it while biasing guitar amps and measuring their RMS output. It never gets more than just very slightly warm. I just drilled and tapped two holes on the frame for the bolts and mounted it without any heatsink compound. I like that it has built-in leads, which makes for a clean installation and leaves no exposed connections to accidentally get shorted out.

Not too much to say about this. It works great as a dummy load when working on vintage gear. Perfect

A nice test load
I bought this to test a 50 watt power supply. It did the job nicely, and at 50% of rated power it only got comfortably warm in about 30 seconds of testing.

WELL MADE. WORKS WELL. OURS OHMED OUT TO LESS THAN 5% TOLERANCE. IF MORE WATTAGE IS REQUIRED YOU CAN ADD MORE 'HEAT-SINK' TO IT.

Used 4 to make a 4, 8 and 16 ohm dummy load
The resistance is very close at about 8.3 ohms a piece. They seem to be built very well. I mounted them on 1/8 aluminum and added a heat sink. Bought all the parts on amazon.

Good reliable Dummy load
I purchased 4 in order to be able to repair and adjust amplifiers that require 4 or 8 Ohm loads. Good precision: Resistance at 100 & 1kHz - R1:8.036, R2:8.003, R3:8.075, R4:8.020 Resistance at 10kHz - R1:8.084, R2:8.052, R3:8.118, R4:8.071 Make sure that you mount them on a big heat sink.

Bang on 8.04 ohms for both. Very pleased with the product. Would definitely recommend.

Do exactly what you want and do it well. 8.05 ohms measured, and with. 40 watt amplifier at highest power before distortion for 10 minutes they barely got warm.
