⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Worthy of 10 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This particular set is exquisite. It’s one very sturdy, well balanced, thick and heavy silverware set. I love it so much, I’ve already ordered a second box to accommodate dinner guests. You can’t go wrong with this set. However, they are quite long. Longer than what I expected, but no less brilliant in design. They have a very shiny mirror-like finish, and are very nice for the viewing pleasure of both yourself and your guests. I don’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher. Most machines use high heat steam drying, and I think that will cause corrosion of even this 18/10 stainless steel set. Scratching will happen. It’s silverware, not a new car. However, you can help maintain the finish by hand drying each piece after washing. I’ve heard citrus based dishwashing soap is bad for you set, and will constitute corrosion. I haven’t tested this theory, but best to be on the safe side and use ordinary dawn dish soap without any sort of fresh smelling whatever in it. I personally use blue dawn ultra. Anyway, great set. Totally recommend, and you should too.

True to reviews
No surprise since I did read many helpful reviews, that the size of this set is rather pronounced. The dinner spoon, just a hair shy of 9", and the knife a full 10", but I don't find any of the pieces daunting. Helps to have a tray that they fit, but very nicely finished with a simple and very elegant design. Although I've only taken them out of the well wrapped package and used once, I do find them a very pleasing set. Can't speak for longevity, of course, but they are not as heavy as the size would suggest. Just right for my circle of hands. I could say something about my big mouth, but the fact remains that what goes on the tool, is a matter of judgement, along with how much of the tool needs to be shoved in the variety of recepticles. I am very well pleased to have a set that actually matches and do suggest a measurement of your tray, or the purchase of one to go along with the rather unusual length of each piece.

Wonderful to hold!
I love these. They are beautiful, comfortable, and have weight. They are longer than most flatware, and did not fit in my flatware holder which was a standard size. I love these enough for that to be insignificant to me. I did see a longer flatware holder on Amazon and will look into that. These are well worth handling that small hurdle. The salad fork is substantial enough that I if it was not next to the dinner fork it would never occur to me that it was a salad fork. It is not that these are for weight lifters. I am a woman and not particularly large or strong. It is that I have eaten with flatware that feels like it is made from a tin can, or that bends easily. That is just not the case with these. They are wonderful! I am going to buy a second set so that I have service for 8.

High Quality, Close to Michelin Caliber
Heavy, balanced, elegantly shaped. Larger than a typical setting (pictures show smaller fork and spoon). They are well-polished and *will* show fingerprints as soon as they are picked up. Might feel out-of-place next to more casual plates and cups. If you're looking for fine-dining style cutlery but don't want to spend $150+ on a 20-piece set, I think this would be a passable option. I looked through GS's catalogue and they have many other styles at a similar price point if these feel too big or too "classy". If the quality of those sets is anything like this one, you won't be disappointed.

These are beautiful quality pieces of flatware
I had a previous set of gourmet settings flatware for almost a year but my husband accidentally threw away a few pieces while doing dishes. I love their quality so my next set is this particular one (Willow?). I was blown away by the beauty of this set, yes they are longer than most but if they weren’t they would not look so elegant. They have a nice touch of mid century that I appreciate. They are well balanced and very comfortable to hold. The knives are unique as they are not serrated but sharpened so they cut through chicken just fine. I’m ordering 2 more sets because I want to keep this set for a long time. FYI: the serving utensils in photo are not part of set. I’m in love with them!

Longer than you think.
The major problem with these is that they are too long and don't fit in standard silverware trays. The PROs are that they are sturdy, the tines on the forks don't flex and deform like most of the newer silverware being sold today. The design is simple and ergonomic, fitting well in the hand. If you have extra large hands they will work well for you, but are too large for the majority of people.
