great cart
Note: this is for the upgraded 2018 version of the cartI bought this cart when I moved to an apartment on the third floor. I have knee and back issues, and knew that the stairs would be hard enough, let alone getting items up the stairs. The cart arrived in a large box, and shrink wrapped. It was easy to open and to assemble. The pictures on the assembly card were appreciated, because it helped me make sure I was putting it together correctly. I am not mechanically inclined, so the fact I was able to put it together without using a single swear word was pretty impressive. If I can do it, ANYONE could do it. Those little triangle wheels look weird, and I was doubtful about them, but that changed the first trip up the stairs. They really WORK ... it was not hard at all to go up the three flights with the loaded cart. I can't tell you how much weight I had on it ... but the bag was full and there were some heavier items like bottled water. The bag: The bag is roomy and tall. I had to maneuver a little to get a six pack of water in there, but I think that's more me being not mechanically inclined rather than the fault of the bag, and it DID go in and sit flat. If I had one suggestion about the bag it would be that it had a velcro attachment set at the base of the bag as well instead of just at the top. Once there is something in the bottom it sits well enough, but it tends to wiggle when you're trying to put those first few items in. It has a drawstring at the top and then the top flap folds over and velcros. I haven't tried any of the pockets yet, but there are several that seem to be well made. Now, I did see some of the other reviews ... you do have to use common sense when packing the bag. Put heavier items on the bottom, and balance your load. Otherwise it is going to be difficult to maneuver, and I can see how it might be considered "top heavy" if you loaded it incorrectly. But that's going to be anything you use, not just this cart. The handle: The handle is the perfect height for me ... I'm 5'5". I think it would be comfy for anyone a few inches shorter and maybe a few inches taller, but I think it might be a little short for anyone approaching 6' or too tall for anyone under 5', and there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the height. The handle itself is nicely designed and fits my hand. It doesn't leave nasty red lines or dig in uncomfortably when going upstairs with a full load. It also isn't angled oddly, it lets my arm rest at a natural angle, so I don't feel like I'm being twisted into a pretzel. I think part of that may also be the wheels, the way they go up the steps. The frame of the handle is nice and solid, doesn't feel flimsy or flexy ... and the clamp for folding/unfolding is a good hard plastic, and easy to use.The wheels: As I said earlier, I was skeptical because those things just look bizarre to me. I wasn't sure they would roll the way they should, or climb stairs. But they do. They roll easily on solid ground, and they handle little curbs and big stairs with ease. When going upstairs they actually roll up the steps, so you're not having to yank and tug and strain. They're also quieter than I would have expected, not making horrible clattering or clanking sounds to disturb neighbors. Now if the cart is empty or very lightly loaded it can make a bit of noise, but that's to be expected because it bounces a little going up or down stairs. If I had any criticism at all it'd be that the way the cart bottom "foot" is built it's a little off kilter, the cart doesn't stand perfectly level unless you have some weight on the base. It's almost as if it's trying to fold up any time it's not in use. It's not a problem, per se, but it just seems a little unsturdy until it gets some weight. That might be by design, to make it easy to fold, and it may also settle itself down after it's been in use a little more.If it were an option I might go 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 for the lack of bottom velcro on the bag and for the slight foldy tendency when it doesn't have weight on it ... but overall I really love this cart.

Lightweight and strong, big storage
This is my true lifesaver. It's so Lightweight and strong, not to mention the big storage bag comes with it. I can move heavy box easily. I take it every time I go to Costco, I don't need to worry about my back anymore. I will recommended it to my neighbors

The Very Best Shopping Cart On The Market
I already had a ROYI shopping cart and love it! I ordered this upgraded ROYI card because of the solid platform which I really needed. I absolutely love this cart. This is the best shopping cart on the market! All high end materials! No cheap materials at all. This is an absolute God Send since my back injury. Don’t hesitate at all to buy one of these. You will not regret it!

Very handy to have on hand for stairs
Not to heavy to manage. Added a bungee cord to keep everything secure. The only negative is the wheels are not flexible(too stiff). To turn a corner I need to make a wider turn. The cart fell sideways the first time I turned a corner to tightly. I’ve used a deep laundry basket in place of the bag for moving some items from one floor to another. Very happy with my purchase.

Durable, Lightweight, Nice-looking Stairclimbing Cart
I’ve used it for hauling groceries as well as taking items to & from the parking lot to the office. It is made well, lightweight, was easy to put together however I did have problems latching the wheels. I hope I attached it correctly. I’ve used it everyday & though it’s smaller than I expected, it serves its purpose well. The tri-wheels do make it easier going upstairs. I haven’t tried it going downstairs yet. I make good use of the additional pockets. As a senior, this especially makes a great gift for us. And it looks nice.

Works as advertised!
My mom has had a hip surgery a few years back and still needs a knee surgery. Yet she lives/ works in D.C. where there’s a lot of walking. This has done wonders for her when my dad can’t drive her around so she can still do things on her own. She says that they work great on the stairs up to their house also!!

multi functional handtruck and shopping cart
my first floor entrance is a few stairs up from the ground. We used to have a traditional shopping cart with one pair of wheel. There was always some difficulties to pull the cart to my first floor. However, this amazing 3-wheels design resolve the problem completely. As you can see my picture, 3 wheels are rotating to adapt to different levels of stairs. so the cart can be pulled smoothly when it is on the stairs. In addition, the included cargo bag is removable. Once I remove the cargo bag, it is transformed into a mini handtruck. In conclusion, it is best for household use.

Impressive
After an exhausting search for a suitable cart to haul my groceries (and other items) home on the bus, I finally found the one! The handle is on the longer side (I'm 4'11'') which allows me to take a full stride without clipping my heels and takes much of the weight off my back. Once loaded the wheels made very little noise and they travel well on the broken sidewalks in town. Works extremely well going up my two flights of stairs to my apartment. I finally gave it a fair test run with about 30 lbs of groceries, everything was very stable on the platform, the bag didn't shift at all (once it was placed properly over the handle). The only gripe I have is the handle is a bit big for my hands, but I do have tiny hands. It was simple to put together, required no tools and went together in about a minute. Well worth the $50 investment and far outstrips its cheaper competitors.
