The ability to pair with your mobile device.
This device is a GPS game changer. Paired with my iPhone without any problems. Have tried others only to be disappointed. Carpuride is what any older vehicle owner wanting a GPS/Entertainment screen some have.

Great bang for your buck
The media could not be loaded. Like:•Quick and responsive, doesn’t take forever to change pages, media, maps, etc•USB-C cable and aux cable are good quality, don’t feel cheap.•good mounts, suction cup or adhesive.•Simple, I didn’t want a dash cam on my CarPlay, this was the best option I found by far.Dislikes:•Screen is reflective and hard to see when it’s bright. Screen also isn’t slick, your finger doesn’t move fluidly when swiping.•You’ll have to dig through the settings for a while to get the home button removed, as it isn’t clearly labeled. This is a great investment for getting GPS, Music and messaging in an older vehicle. I hate all the cameras thrown in on the other bundles, so this is absolutely a no brainer!

Fantastic addition to my older car.
Works great, priced right. Wired or wireless works great. I love that you can update the firmware and add a custom logo, just reach out to company. Also has a usb a port for wired CarPlay and a micro sd card for music. Works great, no lag, great screen, very happyOnly con is the usb power supply is proprietary. I tried using 3 other, high wattage usb c chargers and non worked. The charge is HUGE and the cord is SOOOOOO long, I wish I had another option

Excellent Value for the money
I began my motorcycle journey purchasing a Garmin Zumo XT2 and had to return it due to extremely buggy software. I originally went with the more expensive Zumo XT2 because it supported navigation with imported GPX files.Enter Carpuride W603DI picked up this unit because it had Android Auto and Apple Car play. I was skeptical of the cameras but was pleasantly surprised by the very good quality. Cameras are not image stabilized but that really hasn't been a problem for the intended use case of catching accidents, etc... I will say the build quality is good, not excellent. The garmin had a very premium ruggedized build quality to it and I also prefer the garmin quick connect/disconnect mount system. The Carpuride uses a RAM mount with power cable, front camera cable, rear camera cable and a handlebar remote cable making the cables going into the unit a little on the bulky side. For the price I'm not complaining but as a review, I kind of wish they would have found a way to have a single cable into the unit that split out further away where I could hide all the wires. As such, I have to zip tie all these cables up near the handlebar mount. I will also add that the connections are very nice in that they are a water tight o-ring press fit with a screw type connector which is very, very nice!Software: Software, unlike the buggy garmin mess, was rock solid. Everything just worked. I only use Android auto and it worked with no snags or hang ups. Navigation on the screen is quite smooth and boot time is exceptionally good - unit boots up in under 20 seconds. There is no ignition signal wire so the unit must manually be turned on and off which is achieved with the handlebar controller. At first, I didn't think this was good. I wanted the unit to come on when the bike was turned on but after using the unit for awhile, I now prefer that I can independently control the unit separate from the bike. For example, after a ride I turn the bike off, I can leave the Carpuride on to review & download video footage and before starting the bike or parked with the bike off, I can continue to use the map functions of the Carpuride without the bike being on or in accessory mode and I found I prefer this kind of arrangement after using it.I like the unit so much, I bought a 2nd one for my other bike.It would be nice if Carpuride could sell kits with cameras and cables and re-engineer the mounting situation so one Carpuride can be moved from bike to bike but at this price point, it's really good value. There are things I wish that were better but I didn't deduct any stars since I think the price for what you get is very good. Things I wish were better:1. The android app, Viidura, allows you to download videos from the Carpuride to your phone but it does not allow you to specify where those downloads go and they wind up in the phone's built-in storage. No way to select your SD Card.2. I wish they would add image stabilization which I think they could do this in software.3. The camera mounting isn't great. I wound up buying 3M double sided VHB tape to replace the tape that came with the Carpuride.4. Would prefer a less bulky wire harness setup with one cable going into the carpuride going into a fanout connector that can be hidden in fairings.5. Would like to see a quick connect/disconnect system like garmin has so can be moved from bike to bike.6. The rubber spacers used for different size handlebars are two thick for one of my bikes (Harley Davidson FatBoy). For this bike, I have to use different handlebar mounting bracket. No stars deducted as they state supported handlebar sizes. In conclusion, it's not perfect but worth the price and delivers on it's main features overall.UPDATEI contacted carpuride to get a technical question answered and they would not respond with anything meaningful. My first email asked how to change the location of where downloaded images are stored in what they call "local album". Their response was generic and didn't answer the question. So I wrote back and they ignored me. I've updated this review to deduct 2 stars for the terrible customer support and lack of consideration given to my inquiry.

Doesn’t work with a backup camera so I sent it back
I bought this to replace another brand that went caput, under the impression that I could plug in my rear camera (it has a cam in port) and use as a backup camera. Alas, when I plugged it in and put my car in reverse some text popped up on the screen that said something like Stop Reverse, but that’s it. No rear facing image. I tried it many times, restarted, read the manual, nothing. Sent it back and bought a different brand and it works perfectly right out of the box. If you want this to use with a backup camera, keep looking.

This one WORKS
I tried one of the cheap Android Auto boxes from Ali and it worked kind of OK but the bluetooth was very sketchy and only "usually" connected - sometimes I had to power cycle it a few times and there were times I stood there waiting for 30+ seconds for it to connect before leaving. This one works, well, every time, and the bluetooth connectivity is done better. The cheap units pass the audio through the unit so your helmet is connecting to the unit not your phone. This one connects to the phone for control but not for audio. The helmet still connects to the phone directly for audio. This means you have the same audio connection if you're on a different bike, and there isn't the terrible lag you get with the pass-through type units.
