Master Lock Locker Lock Set Your Own Combination Padlock, 3 Pack, Colors May Vary, 1535EC3

I purchased two of these - one over 5 years ago and one just recently. The first came in the sky blue pictured above and the latest one we received was more of a royal blue. The description mentions that colors vary, so be aware of that. Our older one was used outdoors for years and started having some issues opening and closing. We added some lock lubricant and it was working like new again. Overall, these are very easy to set a new password and has been reliable. Tons of word options as the 4 letter passcode uses most of the common letters.

I purchased this lock several months ago, but waited to review it, in order to see if it would continue to work under daily use and abuse. Now, having used it and abused it since June, I can state that it performs flawlessly. I use it at the YMCA on a daily basis, and have dropped it on the hard flooring several times. Although nicked and scratched up a bit, there's no loss in performance and nothing has come loose. Several reviewers stated that this lock was a piece of junk and prone to falling apart; I suspect that they received a defective one, as I've had no issues whatsoever. I love the fact that you can use words to set the combination lock. Words are so much easier to remember than numbers, and if you want to change the word, it's simple to do so. The lock is very sturdy and just as trustworthy as the old fashioned Master locks. Apparently the color choices are sent out randomly, but I was lucky and received the blue one that I wanted. The bottom line is that this is a fantastic lock, and at least for me, it works perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a word to a number combination lock.

These are great! I love that I was able to set all 3 to the same combo and I don't have to remember three different codes. Also, it's so much easier than the dial style locks. I like that you need a coin to turn the bottom to reset the code. I ahd purchased another brand and before I even used it, it had reset the code itself. I've had no issues with these. They're easy to set, stay where you set them, and very convenient to open.

I love the idea of creating a word I can easily remember. Lock works well, although I wish the letters would click into place a bit better... sometimes when turning one row, it's easy to bump the other row and slightly move it off the correct letter, but that's really petty stuff. All in all, great lock for gyms or similar situations where you just need a temporary lock that's easy to use.

This is a very nice lock. I bought it to use for an escape room, so it's an indoor item for me, but it's very sturdy, heavy, and built well. What I liked most about it is that it's very easy to change the combination. Some locks are very difficult to reset, but this one can be reset very quickly with the use of a coin to flip it to reset mode. One con: you are limited in what combinations you can spell, because not every letter is on each rung, but you can make quite a few combinations with it, so I don't feel that it detracts much from its functionality. I'm seriously considering getting the numbered version since the lettered one is so well-made, and the price is quite low considering the quality is superior. Would buy again.

Kind of a nolvety.

Suits my needs will. I had a similar lock (Master Lock 1523D) with a wider shackle and the number rings going 90 degrees from this one. I like this one better, as you don't have to take it apart to change the combination.

For an English major who has memory dyslexia (is that a real thing? It is for me) when it comes to numbers, this is the BEST. Thank you, Master Lock, for creating this!!! I'll never have to have my lock cut off of my locker again. I'll also note that this is cheaper than other word locks I found in stores, as well as much prettier, and I am deeply appreciative of both. THANK YOU, MASTER LOCK. I could not be happier with this. The instructions in the package on how to reset the lock combination were clear and concise, and I'm hanging on to them in case I ever feel the need to reset it again. You'd be surprised how many four-letter words an English major can find on this thing...or maybe you wouldn't, after playing Scrabble with one of us. :) I LOVE this. Got this lock for my son and he loves it! He says it’s very cool, easy to use, and feels sturdy and heavy-duty. The colors make it fun while still being reliable for everyday use. Great choice for school lockers!

Bémol important , le cadenas que j'ai reçu a déjà été ouvert et , bien que "comme neuf" , c'est très désagréable de recevoir un objet d'occasion . De plus on ne peut pas choisir la couleur (si oui , je n'ai pas su faire)
