It works.
Actually works. It's pretty simple. Bluetooth in phone handset. 5 stars cause it does what it says.

Very lightweight, easy to hold, clear sound and also a music “speaker”
It’s awesome. It works great with Bluetooth, totally clear connection. Just connect to Bluetooth, place the call on your cell phone, and select the Bluetooth phone as your speaker/microphone of choice.I love being able to put it on my shoulder like the old days and walk around as multitask. So comfortable. It is SO lightweight, easy to hold. The charge holds for quite some time. Don’t need to charge it very often at all.We bought this phone as a way for our daughter to talk to family members! She carries it around and talks to people, easy for her to hold and much less stimulating than a smartphone. It’s very cute to see. AND when she isn’t talking to someone it can actually be used as a way to listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks! So we will put her fave songs on for her to walk around the house and listen to. Sometimes we will put a kids podcast on and she pretend talks into the phone.Sometimes I use it instead of my own phone because it’s simply easier to talk on! Exact size of the old landline phones that I knew from the 70’s/80’s/90’s, but incredibly lightweight.Volume buttons on side if you’re talking with someone who isn’t speaking loudly.

Odd but funny
Works great only flaw is it’s upside down, you talk into where your ear should be an you listen to where you should be talk into.. lmao I guess who ever made it never used a rotary phone. But it works is easy to pair.lmao

It’s Upside Down!
The microphone is in the ear cup and the speaker is in the mouth cup! If you’re getting this for the novelty and don’t plan to use it much, fine. But if you’re considering it because you remember the feel of the old handset against your head, forget it, it’s upside down. There’s no recess to fit your ear. Much more uncomfortable than it should be.

My mom loves this thing!
I got my mom one of these retro bluetooth phones because she hates the inconsistent way her samsung phone has you answer an incoming call (if you're using the phone a pop up appears and you just TAP the answer button, but if you're not using the phone a full screen thing comes up and you have to SLIDE something a certain direction to answer a call). With this she can just push a button to answer, push the same button to hang up. Simple. There is one tiny annoying quirk: When something like this is paired via bluetooth the default connection profile will send phone audio as well as notification audio to this retro handset, which is not ideal because you can't really hear the notifications you want to hear through the handset when you're not using it. So of course, you can disable notification audio in the bluetooth profile so those sounds continue to come from the cell phone itself. However, this creates a new problem where the retro handset, after connecting to the cell phone via bluetooth, will still show an alternating red/blue light which is very similar looking to the sequence you see when the phone is not connected and is trying to pair with something. They are connected and the retro handset does work but the blinking will only stop after a phone call is received and ended. So I've just suggested to my mom to face the button side of the retro handset away and ignore the lights. It would be nice if this behavior were designed out of the device or if it were designed to never tell a paired device that it would accept notification sounds in the first place.

This Bluetooth is a Game Changer!!!!
I brought this Bluetooth receiver for my Mother and my Aunt who are senior citizens and were having problems answering their mobile phone when it rang. It worked like a charm! My Mother and Aunt were familiar with a receiver more so than swiping a phone left to right with their fingers. Also, other Bluetooth items did not work for them because it went in the ear and that was not comfortable for them. Once I paired the receive to the mobile phone (which was very easy to do) all they had to do was push the button on the receive to answer the call and push that same button to end the call. And to make a call was great as well because once they entered the number and the receive would automatically connect the call. The Bluetooth receive has a volume control on the side and comes in different colors. I recommend this Bluetooth receive for all seniors or anyone who are having problems answering their mobile/cell phones.

A very happy purchase!
What a surprise! I honestly had low expectations. But, this works great! I'm a frustrated old fart phone user who was sick and tired of constantly accidentally hitting mute or other things on the phone screen with my face/ear. The bluetooth setup was easy. It came with a USB cord, but it was really short, so I did buy a longer one. It's not a standard type I had a million of laying around the house, so you might double check if you have it. The phone is the same size as a standard phone receiver was back in the day. The feel is a sort of silicon feel, but without any flexibility. I've tested it with family members to make sure I didn't get that bad sound on the other end that you get with people talking on speaker. They say it sounds exactly the same on their end. Worth it!
