I read all the labels carefully and for me (I can eat sugar safely), this is the best balanced nutrition. I’ve tried all the flavors and the vanilla is the only one I’d actually choose to drink as a beverage.

This drink is pure calories. If you cannot eat, or need to switch to a liquid diet this is going to be the most effective. With 350 calories for an 8 ounce serving it’s hard to beat, especially because there isn’t crazy amounts of sugar. Surprisingly the taste is not as bad as you would think. It has a nice creamy flavor and won’t make you gag like some of these other reviews mention. It won’t taste like a milkshake obviously but how can you expect it to?

My elderly relative said he loved these. We had to help him drink the first two, and left the rest by his bedside. Then, the next morning, we came back and saw that he had drunk one by himself over night - after not eating or having an appetite for a couple of weeks. We are using these to add weight and muscle to his frame. I also bought some syrups and flavors to add in to them, so he won't get bored, but so far, he just loves them as is. UPDATE: OK, so, he loved them too much. I ended up buying him 96 bottles, and he started bingeing them, and is down to just six bottles. He tore through them. He said he just doesn't feel like chewing much anymore. I'm happy that he has these to get the calories and nutrients. He is up and moving around again, so I'm torn honestly. I might start diluting them with whole milk to stretch them a bit - either that or buy stock in the company.
