moment is the way to go, but...
I was testing this lens for the last weeks and i have to say that i loved how small and convenience is compare with another big wide lenses. The fast way to attached the lens to the case and be ready in les than 10 seconds is something that it is major key for any video production. The reason why i used my phones for video is for capturing moments and shooting different angles that are impossible to do with another cameras. I have to say this wide lens pump my creativity as video creator, also you need to know that if you use iphone xs as i do combining this lens with your native lens you can have access to something around 14ish with wide lens attached to something like a 24mm with native camera to around 50mm if you use the 2x option in the iphone camera what gives you a really flexible range to work with only one lens. But i have to say that if you use this lens with your gimbal in my case dji osmo 2 you will find several problems than until now i was not able to fix such us the lens is than wide than always capture some part of your gimbal arm, there is a particular way to shoot with your gimbal where you avoid part of this but it is not really a solution for the majority of your shots, also if you try to vlogging take in considerationif you are using a gimbal you will have this problem at least that you used the selfie camera. This is not my case because the selife camera is a really inferior camera compare with the front. So, the only way i find you can avoid this problem is filming in 4k and zooming in post a little bit till your gimbal disappears of the frame, it is not a big deal but i would like not do that. Also you have to consider that this lens produce some flares in the inferior left corner that could be annoying some times if you are trying to get a clean shot but sometimes i use this in an artistic way.Overall, i have to say it is the best lens in the market i buy and i am quite happy with the result but i will recommend you take in consideration, those little details and also buy the back cap to avoid get dust inside the lens.

Worth the price.
The box looked like it was already open because the tab was pulled out. The lens was dirty because the card they put on top of it was rubbing against it and pieces of the card flaked off onto the glass. The packaging is not terrible but could be much better. They should just ship it with the cap on. Not sure why they don't.The lens itself is just like all the other reviews said. It is high end and the images taken on my Note 8 look very good. I posted a pic of my dog on a couch without the lens and one with the lens. The beore and after shots tell you all you need to know really. Installation is simple. The lens can be carried in a pants pocket, whipped out and installed in less than 30 seconds. No need to line up anything. That alone is worth getting these over clip on lenses. I also ordered their updated 58mm tele and the new anamorphic. The wide is totally worth the money. The only thing that sucks is that a 10% promo code was put up on Facebook a day and a half after I ordered them. My order was not completed because the anamorphic is on back order so I sent an email hoping they could hook me up with that 10%. I'll probably end up taking that $25 and using it for the gimbal counter weights they sell.

Moment Lens are better then I expected.
I purchased this lens to be able to use it at one of my daughter's cheer events and my other daughter's hockey games. For the cheer event, I was able to get the entire area of the mat and the shots came in clear. The lens is surprisingly good. For the hockey game, I still have to pan right and to get the whole sheet of but get the entire half of the rink without issue. The lens is solid and has a bit of weight but it uses quality parts so that is not much of an issue. It comes with a bag and lens cap for when not in use.Mounting the lens requires a phone case that is sold separately. It is a good case so worth the cost to protect your phone.Sadly the lens is too heavy for the DJI 4 Gimble. It kept releasing the motors to prevent damage. Since the DJI 4 is all automated there is nothing you can do to counterbalance it but that is for another review.Get the DJI 3 Gimbal and there are good videos on youtube that will make it work well with this lens.

AMAZING
I bought this lens for my trip to Italy, and it truly blew me away. I wanted to avoid carrying around a big bulky camera, but the iphone 8+ camera alone wasn't quite enough for me. After adding the Moment lens it seriously becomes a different camera. I love photography and always have, and when you give yourself that extra bit of wideness for the images you can capture aspects of the landscape and scenery that would otherwise be lost. Thanks to this lens I was able to take pictures that I can proudly display, as opposed to getting lost in my phones camera roll. I highly recommend this lens to anyone who wants a bit more out of their photography, but doesn't want to spend the money or take the time to haul around a big camera. One thing to be aware of, however, is that sunny atmospheres can cause glare as shown in the Venice picture. Personally i liked it for some of the pictures, but if you want to avoid that you can work around it by shading the lens or changing your angle. I never felt like it ruined my pictures or made it impossible.
