Indus Organics Banana Powder, 3 Bag of 1 Lb, Sulfite Free, No Added Sugar, Premium Grade, High Purity, Freshly Packed

I ordered the powder. It is yellow-white in color and very powdery. Tasting it out of the package, it was difficult to really experience the flavor in its dry form (It in fact could cause choking in someone it they tried swallowing a heaping tablespoon or something -- please no one do that!) So then I mixed it with a few drops each olive oil and water and tasted it, and a nice banana flavor came through. If full banana flavor is 10, this might be a 7. Adding sea salt would probably bring out more banana taste, I am assuming.I didn't bother with that last step, as I'm not imagining ever needing this to taste like fresh, perfect pureed banana, and nor do I believe whatever you did to this product would get you there. Some things you just can't undo, and that probably means dehydrating bananas, especially organically.No matter for me, I am using this as additional flavoring as part of a antioxidant protein shake (dry) mix I created. I need additional (healthy, natural) dehydrated fruits to mask some other yucky tasting ingredients, plus the potassium and extra vitamin C are only a bonus.Above said, I have zero knowledge about the company ,their use of safe handling practices, ethical guidlines, and as such the nutritional quality that is retained in these versus dried banana other from other companies.I am ordering a second bag for my sister for her shakes and hope the quality stays the same. I do some some varied reviews.For anyone concerned about the color not being a pure yellow is that this is organic, with no (histamine-inflamming) sulfates to preserve color.

I like this banana powder because of its excellent taste and texture, having few or no lumps. Packaging is the right size for me, in 1 lb bags. Buying three at a time makes the price competitive.

I had bought a more expensive brand of freeze dried banana, which isn't always in stock. This brand clumped more, was not as flavorful, & it turned brown. I stored it in an airtight zip bag in the refrigerator. I won't buy this again.

We keep this on hand because we run out of bananas all the time and the grocery store is far away. This powder is a life saver for our daily breakfast. It is not sweet so we add a touch of honey and it is perfect for making a thick potassium rich smoothie.

This is good stuff. The reason for -1 star is only because I was expecting something with similar flavor as banana chips which taste much sweeter. This goes great in milkshakes, but i mix a concoction of multiple juices grasses & minerals (nutritional dirt) and this banana powder adds more texture than flavor as the flavor/texture is similar to plantains. I'd recommend to a friend

Loved the flavor and saved me lots of money on buying small packs of freeze dried bananas and then having to make into a powder WILL buy again!

Only issue is a metallic aftertaste.
