Good to have on hand for cuts and abrasions.
I bought this kit to have on hand in case of cuts or abrasions, so it was very helpful when my husband was injured. He sustained a large abrasion on his arm and leg, and gauze, tape and scissors were great to have on hand. And, the transparent, waterproof press-on bandage worked great, so he could take a shower without getting the abrasions wet.

Add capabilities to your basic kit with this!
This would be one of my recomendations for taking your basic first aid kit to the next level. 4 different types of prep pads, some nice premium dressings. The scissors are pretty simple but arent complete junk. Gauze roll is nice quality and feels real spongy as if it has a lot of absorbtion capability. love it.

I bought these for my first aid kit. A great price. Hopefully I won’t ever need them.

Great kit
I take blood thinners so im always worried about cuts. I carry this kit in my tackle box, my camera bag etc. I take it with me everywhere I go. Better safe than sorry. I have walked my friends and family through the use of this kit so they can help me if I need it. I did add a couple extra pairs of rubber gloves in a zip lock baggy. Get this piece of mind and enjoy life.

Wound closure
I bought to try for injuries when we are up north. Much easier to apply then steri strips. No glue needed prior to applying. I think it would be easy for a nonmedical person to apply. This doesn't replace medical treatment if the injury is significant but works great when needed for a cut that requires more than a bandaid.

basic set for someone who knows what their doing
this is a basic set for someone who knows what their doing. Nice starter but you will need to modify for your needs.

Nice to have on hand, hope to never use it.
The kit arrived in good condition and is well packaged. Kind of like buying a fire extinguisher, I bought this kit hoping to never use it, but if it is ever needed it appears that it will work well. Being a typical guy, I would rather patch myself up than go to the doctor. It should be easy to use and comes with clear instructions. I guess time will tell.
