Breadmaker Paddle Stainless Steel Bread Maker Blade Non-stick Kneading Blade Replacement for Breadmaker Machine

Bought a bread machine secondhand without a paddle. My first loaf was not great but the new paddle works nicely!

The paddle on my bread machine disappeared . . . I tore my kitchen apart looking for it, but, alas, it seems to have gone to the great bakery in the sky. I hated the idea of needing to buy a new bread machine just because I needed a new paddle. And I cannot make my own because do not have a metal machine shop in my garage or basement (in fact I do not even have a basement). And, my bread machine is a no-name brand called "SKG", model 3950. This SKG company appears not even to be in business; their website at the URL in the manual is now the website of some company that makes neck massagers, so there is no way to order a replacement from them.Well, anyway, before investing in a new bread machine, I figured it made sense to try my luck with this universal paddle. I am pleased to report that it fits and it works; I successfully made a loaf with it.

Worked great. The paddle doesn't fit on the turning shaft properly - it's loose. And I thought it would fly off into the dough as it was spinning. But it didn't - as a matter of fact when I knocked the loaf out the paddle was held tightly to the shaft and stayed in the bread maker pan instead of coming out with the loaf. So apparently while it's spinning and heating up it forms a tight bond. But when I was washing the bread maker pan it came out just fine. Made two loafs so far.

This fit my Elite Gourmet MaxMatic bread maker. It does not feel as heavy as the original did and fit is not quite as tight, but it did make a decent loaf of bread this AM.

I bought like-new a Hamilton Beach breadmaker (model No 29882) from the thrift store but only realized when I got it home that it was missing the paddle! I took a chance on this product because the Hamilton Beach website wanted $20 for shipping on this tiny paddle! I was a bit worried when I first got it because it seemed to slip on and off the pan very easily. However, the metal seems to expand during cooking and I've actually had a bit of trouble getting it off occasionally when it's time to clean it (a brief soak takes care of it.) I still think this is a bit expensive for a tiny bit of nonstick metal, but it does what I need it to do.

Years ago, I accidentally threw my original paddle away and only now found the perfect fit. This paddle works with my Breadmaker and I am a happy baker once more.

I'm not sure why it's so difficult to find the original equipment replacement blade but it is. This is supposed to be it, but it's very loose in the bottom of the bread machine and works its way up into the bread so you can hardly see it. Makes a huge hole in bread to remove and if you don't remove it you risk throwing it out with the end of the loaf. The product is overpriced but not a lot of options. It does the job but it's not the original equipment. It does fit. Just poorly.

It would be helpful to actually list the bread machines that this paddle fits. No matter where or how I search no one actually says it will work for a FRIDGIDAIRE BREAD MACHINE. Guessing and paying then returning is not a viable option for something this simple.
