9/10 rating
This works well, my kid just figured out she could slide it down if she really wants to. It stays on during the night when she doesn’t force it down to put her fingers in her mouth. Light, as comfortable as expected for a brace, no sharp edges. Size appears to be accurate in fit. Durably made, worth the money compared to similar item’s purchased prior. Overall, satisfied and works well.

Post surgical device-some areas could be improved but overall happy
These have worked great for post-craniofacial repair to keep my daughter’s hands out of her mouth. We bought two of these and we are happy with them! I will say a few things that could be improved: 💗 The Velcro does peel up, especially after being exposed to water. My daughter does water play and this impacted the Velcro. 💗Depending on how you position this on your little one, the Velcro also can scratch you and baby, so you may want to put socks over the immobilizers. 💗These did slide off from time to time if not secured tight enough. Overall, though, these were better for air flow, look, and lightness compared to what we were given by the hospital. Especially for summer wear! Would purchase again.

Works but comes off easily
They are cool but can be taken off easily. I want something more restricting because they suck their thumbs most of the day!

These “no no” arm restraints have been so helpful for us!
I can never usually find the time to review items the way I wish I could but I’m making sure I do for this one!! My son had his cleft palate repair surgery this month and these have worked really well for us. We are using them to avoid hands and toys in the mouth while he recovers. I’m honestly not sure why they have such low ratings so I wanted to bring some positive awareness to them. I will start off by saying they don’t have any kind of helpful sizing chart so I did order an extra small pair and a small pair just because I didn’t really know what to expect as far as sizing. For reference my son is 1 year old, 23 pounds and 27 inches long. Both the extra small and the small fit him fine but we have preferred using the extra small because they take up less room on his arm while offering the same amount of bending resistance as the size small. In my attached photo my son has on the extra small pair. The hospital did provide us with a pair of hospital grade no no’s but my son runs naturally hot and would have damp arms from sweating so bad under them so I set out to find a better pair. I wasn’t met with a ton of options on Amazon so I just went with this pair and I’m really glad I did. They have two strong Velcro straps on each brace, one on the top and one on the bottom. There’s also gaps of open space throughout the brace that leaves breathing room so they aren’t getting super hot. We have been doing a long sleeve pj most days and just Velcro these on top of the shirt. We’ve had no issues with him sliding them off or them being too tight and he honestly doesn’t even really mind having them on. He has not had any problems with them leaving bruises or hurtful marks like other reviewers have stated. We put the center of the brace at his elbow and strap it in place there and it’s done its job nicely. I would definetely recommend these.

Life changing, quick solution! Highly
I bought this arm brace out of pure desperation after our dentist warned that my son would need braces if we didn’t stop the thumb sucking immediately. I had tried everything else with no success, so I was hoping for a quick and effective solution and this brace absolutely delivered. It took a little getting used to at first, but after a couple of times wearing it, my son didn’t even notice it was on. To my amazement, it completely stopped the thumb sucking habit. It works exactly as promised, and I honestly wish I had tried it sooner. Highly recommend to any parent facing the same struggle!

Did not work for us
Did not work. Son can just fling them off his arms no matter how tight they are.

Worth a try
Works okay- my daughter can undo the velcro so it’s only as effective as she wants it to be… for the price, it’s worth a shot

Lleva un velcro muy flojo que obviamente se quitan para poder chuparse el dedo. No sirve.

Bought to try to stop 16 month old removing his eye patches. Size small fits perfectly and they seem well-made. I was worried my son would find these distressing to wear but he doesn't actually seem to mind that much so far and he is still able to play quite well.

Great for cleft palate repair Recommend getting smallest size - fits my 8" sons elbow, does the job by preventing below from bending. Less material around the rest of the arm Much better than the clunky hospital braces they give you Light weight
