Works great. Cool ice (no pun intended)

You have to figure it out for a bit, but very easy to do. One review mentioned the spheres were too small, but you’d need a giant glass to think these balls are too small. Mine came out perfect. Only thing is a big block of ice remains at the bottom of the mold which you can’t get out so I was not sure if you leave that and just pour water on top for your next 2 spheres or not. You need to time your time in the freezer, which isn't so swift. But I contacted the seller and so....you must remove this block of ice according to the seller. Read the review "Tasking" and you'll understand. That should have been made clear. I did not remove this block on my first go around, thinking logically that you could use this as a base and just add your fresh water on top once you took out the two balls. You can not. I now have to defrost the unit if you will, as this bottom block does not come out easily and you won't get clear spheres if you just "top up". So a bit of a mixed review but understand going in that there is a bit more involved than just freezing water. I'm not sure if I'll keep it at this point or not. Good results but a semi pain in the arse!

Just got my Glacio clear ice ball maker out of the freezer this afternoon, after letting it freeze for about 24 hrs. I had watched a video with helpful instructions about filling & how to loosen each side a little to get the ice out easier. I didn’t feel the instructions on the box were very informative so the video really helped. My ice popped out easily(I got the double maker as I already had a less expensive ice ball mold so I didn’t need the 4 maker) The ice came out beautifully clear the very first time! I considered this a dryrun but they were great so immediately fixed myself a lovely cocktail just to view it. The only thing I needed to do was file down the little bumps where the holes at the top are but just used a paring knife & it came right off. I’m totally pleased!

I have used other round ice molds and they have been good and do disolve slowly but for a serious Scotch or Bourbon enthusiast the ice has to be clear! This ice mold system accomplishes that goal quite well! I had tried a different system that worked well also but the balls were only 2" and I wanted 2.5 inch and thought I would give Glacio a try. I am NOT dissapointed and this system truly delivers. Once the ice is frozen, I take the finished product out and store in a tuperware bowl so I always have one on hand. You do need to let the ice sit at room temp for a couple of minutes per Glacio's suggestion and when you pour the Bourbon or Scotch over the ice it magically dissapears and is truly clear! I HIGHLY recommend Glacio to anyone that is trying to acheive this result. Thank you Glacio!

Of all the ice mold makers I’ve tried, this by far is the best. The ice is perfectly shaped and crystal clear, unlike any of the other products I’ve tried. Gets me excited to make drinks for guests and family as the ice always impresses and becomes a topic of discussion. Fillability even allows for adding to the molds, currently experimenting with different fruits and mints. Overall great purchase, highly recommend
