Classic Lamp with modern features
Love this lamp, to begin with a classic chrome light with solid heavy base. This means you can have the lamp at the rear of your desk and extend over any paperwork without it effecting your monitor screen. The 3 coloured LED lamp is a game changer, given you a warm light, white and a blue tinged reading light. I use all 3, but generally when working the white light works best. You then have 12 brightness settings using some cleaver touch sensitive buttons that enable you to fine tune to your taste.Ok, not the cheapest but factor in the quality, flexibility and the fact you never have to buy a bulb then I think it’s a decent purchase.

An amazing "arc-over" desk lamp
This is no ordinary desk lamp. It is capable of arching over your work with a good amount of height. Perfect for anyone working on plans, schematics, a jigsaw, or large manuscript paper (such as A2 size or bigger). What makes this lamp so special is the way that it can arc up and "lean" right over your work, thus limiting and avoiding the annoying problem of trying to work on something where you inadvertently cast your own shadow over it. It has varying degrees of brightness. The bass unit is very sturdy and is not something that would slide around as it has a certain weight to it. Highly recommend this lamp for anyone working in detail on anything that requires a large table.

Sits on my desk, looks cool and love the on/off switch
This is an elegant desk lamp which I got to replace my previous one which was floppy and too sensitive in adjusting the lighting levels. I have a modern glass desk and this desk lamp looks cool on it.Three things that stand out for me - firstly you just have to put your hand over the top of the lamp housing to switch it on and off - how cool is that. Secondly I like the heavy base - no chance its going to move around. Third is the long arm so you don't have to move your laptop or papers near to it to get decent lighting. The shape of the lamp housing is also good as you don't get stray lighting from the sides. Its a bit pricey which is why I wouldn't give it 5 stars

Very good spread of bright light
While the overall structure appears slightly flimsy, this lamp provides very good light from a very wide range of positions and heights, while also being very flexible. It's very easy to adjust the brightness and colour of the light. I bought it for my elderly father who has poor eyesight and he is very happy with the light it provides for reading.

Stylish, practical and the perfect study buddy!
When I broke my 20 year old desk lamp and looked at potential replacements, I was really disappointed until I found this lamp. With a heavy base it's stable and looks incredibly stylish on my desk. Above all, the design allows me to adjust the position of the light with precision while the three light settings allow me to adjust the light to just how I need it.It might not be the cheapest light on the market, but for anyone who does a lot of close work, study or reading, it's a good investment. The light also comes with an adapter so can just be plugged in with no need to worry about charging it up or the light running out of charge.

A high quality lamp for the office or bed side
I have bought 2 of these lamps. One for use in my Home office and another as a bed side reading light. Yes - there are still people that read real books.A good quality well built lamp.

Worth the Money
I wasn’t sure about spending the money on a desk lamp. But I wanted something to compliment my once in a life time desk. I was NOT disappointed. It’s design, sturdiness and modern look, was just what I wanted. The flexibility of the various light settings was more than I hoped for. The numerous angles of the lamp, means that any position can be obtained. A once in a life time buy, which I hope, will last out my twilight years. Worth every penny.

An absolute rip-off at half the price.
I looked around for some decent desk-top lamps after already owning an Anglepoise lamp and a couple of good copies of the original. I was looking for something thats better than the £25 lamps that are available all over, and less than the £150+ of an original Anglepoise. Looking at the good reviews I thought I'd try this one.For the money, this lamp feels...well, cheap. Cheap plastics, cheap metal, a single tiny screw securing the base. It just looked and felt like a £25 light, not a £100 light. In operation things didn't look any better. The hand waving IR detector switch is fine, it works...especially when you dont want it to, like when you're trying to move the light. Rather annoying! This has the same electronics as much cheaper lights - standard bluish bright light (probably around 6,000 Kelvin) and a 'warm' light around 2,700 Kelvin. Then a mix of the two together. The cool light setting is the brightest and the light quality isn't nice on th eye. The warm setting looks more orange that warm and is about half the maximum brightness of the cooler setting, which is far two dark even on maximum brightness setting. Both lights together give off an 'Okay' light, just about bright enough for a desk light but again, the quality of the LEDs appears to be poor. All in all this light is a rip-off for £50, let alone £100. My advice is to buy one of the copy Anglepoise lights on here and put a Phillips Hue lightbulb in it. It'll be brighter with more options, far cheaper and a more solid build! If this light was £25 then they'd have a compelling product.
