Perfect storage trunk for the bed of a truck 🚙🧰✨
This Plano Sportsman’s Trunk has been extremely helpful for storage in the bed of my truck. It is a great size and holds a surprising amount of gear without feeling flimsy or cheap. The plastic is thick and sturdy and it feels like it can actually handle being tossed around and used outdoors 💪. The lid closes securely and it keeps everything contained and organized instead of having random stuff sliding around back there. It has been especially useful for keeping tools, supplies, and extra gear in one spot without cluttering up my truck. If you need a durable storage box for truck bed use, garage storage, or even moving gear around, I would absolutely recommend this one. Super practical and worth it 🖤🔒👍

Durable, Spacious, and Worth Every Penny!
Durable, Spacious, and Worth Every Penny! The Plano Sportsman’s Trunk set is absolutely perfect for organizing and protecting gear. Each trunk is solidly built—thick plastic, secure latches, and strong handles that make it easy to carry. The stackable design is a huge plus, especially when space is tight. I use them for camping gear, tools, and seasonal storage, and they hold up great even with heavy use. The lids close tightly, keeping dust and moisture out, and the size is just right—big enough to fit a lot but still easy to move around. The fact that it comes as a 3-pack makes it an incredible value. I’ve already found myself using every single one and could easily get more. These trunks give me peace of mind that my gear is safe, organized, and ready to go whenever I need it. Highly recommend to anyone who camps, hunts, travels, or just needs rugged storage at home or in the garage!

Perfect for Anything
Storage for groceries in my truck bed? Perfect. Camping supplies? Perfect. Garage storage? Perfect. These are affordable but high quality storage containers. It looks very sleek, they’re stackable, and easy to open and close. I’ve bought 4 of these now. And I’ll buy more.

Low profile and very water resistant, but a bit flimsy
Great totes for the money. I purchased two of these medium-sized 1719s, as well as one of the longer 1919s, for my camping gear that goes up on the roof rack. The existing totes I have are a bit tall and have no latching feature so I wouldn't want them up top, exposed to the elements and acting like a giant sail on the highway. The main reasons I chose the Sportsmans over something like an Action Packer was a) They're low profile for less wind resistance, b) The locks & latches felt more substantial and secure than others, c) Much easier to strap down or stack securely, and d) The cost -- Action Packers in particular are stupidly overpriced these days. Overall I think these are pretty well made. The way the lip of the lid comes down generously & tightly over the bottom half, they are very water resistant and will no doubt keep the contents dry in heavy rain on the highway. Unlike other "water resistant" totes, there aren't any features located where water could seep in: the hinges and padlock holes are all moulded separately on the tub from where the lid mates up. To make them dunk-in-the-lake waterproof, just purchase some rubber tubing or weatherstripping from your hardware store and stuff it up into the lid channel (like Plano does for some of their waterproofed 1919 models). My only gripe is that the bottom-half plastic is a bit on the thin side. When it's all latched together it's very strong. I'm 200 lbs and can stand on these without any flex. But with the lid off, that plastic below is a bit flimsy. It makes me wonder how much rough & tumble abuse these could really take before cracking or deforming. But, in Plano's defense, ALL of the manufacturers these days seem to be going as thin as possible on their plastics.... Even the Action Packers are thinner than they used to be. But I'm confident these will hold up reasonably well and are a great buy for the price point. For anyone looking at the model 1919, it's a very similar story: fantastic water resistance, latches, and usability but the plastic on the bottom half is (especially on that model) just wayyyyy too thin for its size and has no moulded support so it feels flimsy while you're loading it up. But when the lid is latched on, it feels pretty solid. And since there seems to be some confusion: the models 1719 and 1919 have removable lids - just the 4 latches hold it on. If you want a hinged lid, the model 1819 is roughly the same as the 1919 but with a hinged lid AND 4 latches (2 in the front and 1 on each side) so it's a bit more secure.

Must buy if you're looking for storage solutions
10 out of 10 stars. Durable, perfectly sized, great latches. I was worried about stacking them, but the walls are thick enough to support them. Not sure the weight limit, but it's enough for basic storage needs.

Perfect for outdoor adventures.
The plano boxes are awesome. Super fast delivery and solid construction. I purchased 2 boxes and use them on top of my roof rack with recovery and camping gear in one and cooking supplies in the other one. Perfect for my little camping adventures.
