Gently pop and click
The paint was peeling off my original break switch and it looks terrible. Assuming this happens quite frequently after years of wear and tear. This part looks and feels like the original as when I first purchased my car as new. It doesn't come with instructions. I searched the web for videos from other people for my specific year, make, and model. It appears to simply pop out by using a flat screwdriver and gently work it around until the old brake switch pops out. Replace by pushing in the new brake switch until there’s a click.
