US Mobile - many pros & few cons
After twice paying US Mobile an expediting fee to get SIM cards in 2 days, I finally figured out Amazon Prime will do the same without the expedite charge!Pros:- You will have the same network coverage as Verizon (darker "Warp" SIM card) or T-mobile (lighter "Light Speed" SIM card) for half the cost or less. You also have the option to purchase USM "Darkstar" SIM cards to utilize the AT&T network. This means you can deal with a single service provider to access the three major carrier networks.- USM pool service allows lesser used lines to share a smaller, less expensive, monthly data alotment. I use this for "emergency backup" phones kept in the car glove compartment & at home.- Minimally priced services, $4-8 month, are available for GPS trackers & IOT devices.- USM has less service downtime caused by system failures, updates, equipment resets or tinkering than the "big 3 networks".- 24x7x365 customer support is available by phone or chat as opposed to the "big 3 networks" customer service that isn't available 10pm to 06am & or has reduced hours on weekends & holidays.- While some USM customer service representatives have accented English, they are easily understood & have an excellent command of the English language.- USM customer service doesn't start by assuming the problem is with the customer's device as the "big 3 networks" do 99.9% of the time.- Like the "big 3 networks", USM does customer satisfaction surveys. Unlike the "big 3 networks", USM acts on the received survey information making improvements or following up with customers.- Since USM offers services on all three major networks, you can transfer your service from network to network in minutes online, with a USM app or with the assistance of customer service, so long as you have a fresh SIM card in hand or your device utilizes e-SIMs. I recommended USM to my cousin living in hurricane prone Florida. If a storm knocks out her usual network but neighbors are up on another network, she can use the neighbor's phone to move her service to the working network. This is also helpful if you- periodically visit areas not covered by your preferred network such as vacation homes.Cons:- When your data usage reaches the plan's premium data limit, speeds drop to 2G & remain there until the start of the next billing period or you pay for additional premium data. There is no "Data rates may be reduced during periods of network congestion.".- Hotspot usage limits exist, although they are more generous than the "big 3 networks".- USM's 30 day rather than fixed day of month billing cycle give rise to a wandering billing date. The billing date following a 31 day month is a day earlier & March bills are 1 or 2 days later than the previous February date.- Billing is done only to credit/debit cards or Google Pay not to bank accounts or services such as PayPal.- There isn't a dedicated USM voicemail app or widget like the "big 3 networks". One has to dial the phone number, enter a password & keypad navigate the menu system rather than having messages displayed & manipulated on the screen.- USM's Android app is the most frequently updated app on my phone & I'm never quite sure what value is added by those updates.- If people ask who your cellular provider is & you tell them "US Mobile" they either reply "huh" or get it confused with US Cellular.😂

US Mobile rocks!
Why are you still paying hundreds of dollars a month for your phone service. US Mobile uses all 3 major US wireless networks. You can even switch effortlessly between them to achieve the best service. I've been with us mobile for 5 years and have had zero issues with them. Great human customer service to boot.

Good price & support
I've been very happy w/ US Mobile thus far. Good customer support and ability to switch between AT&T, Verizon & T-Mobile networks is useful for me. Plus great pricing.

WARNING: Do NOT purchase if you plan to use it as an internet connection.
I live in a rural area. There is no ability to get decent internet without using cellular service. For years I have been using Verizon and using my phone as a hotspot, but due to spotty connection, it meant that if I wanted a stable internet connection I had to leave my phone in my window. Obviously, I did not like doing this, but I felt that I had no real choice. Then I discovered the Netgear Nighthawk, a 4G Mobile Router. It promised to solve this issue once and for all, but of course, I needed a sim card and a new phone line. This is what brings me to US Mobile.US Mobile advertises themselves as offering unlimited data and make the claim that their sim cards can be used as a hotspot. Indeed, when you sign up for their plan, there is an additional charge to be able to use a hotspot. I purchased the best plan they had to offer: Unlimited Talk & Text ($10), Unlimited Data ($30), Data Speed Ludicrous ($15), plus Hot Spot ($10). The ludicrous data speed plan is advertised to be suitable for HD Streaming and Gaming. Needless to say, I was excited and extremely hopeful, despite the plan being advertised as costing $65, but in reality, costing just over $72. However, I should have known it was too good to be true. The first week went fine. Then I went over 15 Gigabytes and the plan stopped working altogether. At first, I thought something was wrong with the network, and it was late at night so I decided to go to bed and try again in the morning. When I tried it again, no matter what I attempted or where I moved my hotspot, it would not connect to the internet. So, I reached out to Customer Service. I was then told that everything was fine and that I would just have to report to them every time I went over 15 Gigs. They would have to manually reset my connection. I was upset, but at least my internet still worked right?Wrong. Later that afternoon it happened again. I contacted US Mobile once again and explained the issue. I was asked what device I was using, and I told them that I was using a Netgear Nighthawk. I was then told that I was violating their terms of service. Their sim cards, apparently, are only supposed to be used in phones and tablets. Had I placed the sim card into my phone instead and used it as a hotspot instead of the Nighthawk, it would have been perfectly fine. (So they claim.) But because I was using the Nighthawk, they throttled me down to 2G speeds.I tried asking for a number to their corporate office. They refused to give me one. I wanted to negotiate for a partial refund and an immediate end to the plan--I felt that was fair. I did not mind paying for what I had used, but they were extremely unclear about their data requirements and what devices it could be used within. They were, after all, advertising that their ludicrous plan was suitable for HD Streaming and gaming. So, here I now sit. Throttled to 2G speeds, forced to report to them like they were a parole officer every time I approach 15 Gigabytes of data used, with 21 days left in my plan. Meanwhile, I am out of nearly $75.My advice to you: Learn from my experience. If you are like me, living in a rural area, forced to use cellular service for your internet, AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Budget friendly affordable phone service
The US Mobile Prepaid SIM Card is decent for a prepaid option. The custom plans are a nice touch, allowing some flexibility, and the service works well most of the time. I had a few moments of weak signal, but overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable option.
