Start them young

A great toy!
This is a great toy to keep kids occupied for a while. One observation though is that its almost impossible to get the plate spinning without at first manually spinning it. The lip on the inside of the plate isn't deep enough.

Very disappointing and a waste of money
I remember well the technique of spinning a plate on a wooden stick. These plates won't stay on the plastic stick for a second. They are too small for a start and you can't start them off in the way I remember with a good wrist action but then the picture instructions on the box suggest placing and spinning the thing in position. I am very disappointed and will be looking for a better product elsewhere. No fun at all for the grandchildren. I also paid too much for them! I wish I had read the reviews beforehand!

Got for a friend for a jokey present/challenge

They are too small to use
My kids had tried these at a circus and were really good at it so we thought it was a good Christmas present however, these are too small to work and the sticks are wonky so they are nearly impossible to spin. Actually we gave up in the end. We never got them spinning.

Die Teller sind zu klein und zu leicht. Kinder (6..8) Jahre schaffen es nicht den Teller zu balancieren. Mit einem anderen Fabrikat mit 24cm Tellern gelang es den Kindern innerhalb von einer halben Stunde den Teller zu balancieren.
