I bought this to make a cold coffee drink made with milk and a caramel flavouring. I used to buy ready made milk based coffee drinks from the supermarket and whilst they were nice I was worried about the amount of sugar in them so looked in to making an equivalent drink but without the sugar. Another problem with the bought drinks was the caffeine in them which if I drank a couple of glasses during the evening I struggled to get to sleep afterwards. This item looked ideal as it had a decent capacity, came with a measuring scoop and cleaning sponge, looked good and would sit in a space in the door of my fridge. So to use it I normally add 4 scoops of ground decaffeinated coffee to the infuser section, put in 8 shots of sugar free caramel syrup (Monin brand) to the jug then fill up to the top mark with semi-skimmed milk. The top is then clipped into place and the infuser section lowered in and turned to lock, screw on the lid and place in the fridge to allow the coffee to infuse. I find this makes a cold coffee drink that is easily comparable with the shop bought ones but without the added sugar and decaffeinated to suit. The item is also very easy to clean once you've finished drinking the contents upon which you will be wanting to make more.

I recently started using the Maestri House Cold Brew Coffee Maker to enjoy refreshing iced coffee at home, and it has been a game-changer! The 1.2L pitcher is perfect for brewing a couple of batches for the week, and I love how easy it is to clean. The 350 mesh filter does an excellent job of keeping my coffee grit-free, which makes each sip smooth and enjoyable. However, I did find that it takes a bit longer to steep than I initially expected, so planning ahead is key. Still, the convenience and quality of the brew make it worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their cold coffee game!

Bought for my son and he LOVES it. Says it makes amazing iced coffee. Brilliant value for money as I no longer have to buy individual drinks. It’s easy to clean and fits in the fridge door with ease.

Lid fits very securely and pours well. The bottom comes off the filter section making it very easy to clean when it’s separated into its 3 constituent parts. Fits well in fridge door or lain on side on a shelf. Wish they made a simple fridge storage jug like this cold tea/coffee bottle as it’s hard to find one that pours so cleanly. Would definitely recommend.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this product deserved one. This is an excellent cold brew maker. It is very easy to use and has a great 1,200 mL capacity. The plastic construction is more versatile (less fragile) than other brewers made from glass. The filtration system eliminates the sludge that other brew systems leave. The packaging is very thoughtful - a scoop and sponge are included. The scoop is easily overlooked, but it is the perfect size to clean the used grounds out of the filter. The sponge is an unexpectedly useful form factor to help with cleaning. Hopefully the sponges can be ordered separately, since sponges don't last forever. Some minor downsides: Cleaning is moderately easy, but the only component that is recommended for the dishwasher is the pitcher (which is also easiest to clean by hand). All of the other elements are recommended for hand washing, which doesn't take long. The way the filter is configured, the pitcher will work most effectively if stored (at least for part of the brew cycle) on its side. However, there is a vent in the lid that is prone to leaking when the pitcher is stored on its side. Brewing upright can lead to the top grounds not getting exposed to water. Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke during routine use after a couple of months: the pitcher lid is attached with a couple of hinges that snap the lid into place on the pitcher. One of the hinge attachments broke. I contacted customer service and a replacement pitcher arrived four days later. I'd recommend being careful with these hinge attachments as they seem prone to break. At the same time, the customer service is very responsive and suggests that they take support of their products seriously.
