Was wonderful putting this together - had so much fun. It was bigger than I thought it would be - after I finished and realizing that I had no place to put it - I gave it to a friend who loves all Harry Potter items/movies. She was thrilled! Nice item and great value for money.

This model kit is nice, but I prefer the laser-cut wood ones (even though I usually break at least a piece during assembly). The material is basically foam sandwiched between two layers of thin cardstock (foamcore). The design is good and the pieces are fairly easy to remove (though really, the “hanging chads” that result from punching out all the slots are enough of a pain to deduct a star), but if you accidentally bend a piece, you may get a visible line where it happened. Also, some pieces weren’t cut out entirely, so some of the artwork side got torn away when removing them. Each panel is actually folded in half, which is unusual to me (the first piece you punch out is a circle that’s juuust slightly too big to fit on half of the panel, so a small piece was on the other side of the fold. It turned out not to be a problem, but it seemed odd until I saw how they reinforced it.There are some great ideas about the build, though: almost each piece is numbered, so even if you punch out a few of them, you won’t lose track of which is which. There is a system with red and blue dots that tells you exactly where pieces slot together (though sometimes, it seems unnecessarily detailed—do we really need to ensure that symmetrical assembled end number 1 is attached to the left side instead of the right?). And finally, I love that this company thought through which pieces are on which panels so that I’m not flipping through all of them to find a part—and that they took the time to inform you exactly when you’re done with a panel.Overall, fun to put together, but I’d’ve liked the pieces to be more sturdy, like the ones made of laser-cut wood. Granted, that would’ve made this so much heavier and it would’ve sacrificed the color and the size. I guess those are worth it being a bit less permanent—even if my cat keeps trying to chew on the tail.

This was a blast putting together. I did this with my 8 year old daughter and we had a great time. Easy enough to put together and looks great on the bedroom shelf.

Very cool-looking HP Phoenix build. It's pretty easy to build as long as you follow the instructions. Instructions are very clear with the number labeling and it's helpful that the pieces are labeled also in case you forget. Popping the pieces are easy too. The only tough spots are if the tabs get a bit smashed while connecting so you have to fix it to push the tabs through the pre-cut slits. There are some pieces where it does feel that it could be better secured like it needs glue but it's holds on well together. Other than that it's a pretty fun build that's easy to follow and looks great once complete. Definitely a great model or gift for any HP fan.

No me gustó mucho por que las partes den las alas están muy sensibles exageradamente y se caen a cada rato y ya no quedan , era un regalo para alguien especial y eso no me gustó mucho

When I came across this 4 D puzzle I was soooo excited!! As a Harry Potter fan, this 4-D puzzle was a definite MUST have!!This was an easy to create puzzle, with a lot of pieces!A pamphlet is included, which walks you thru each portion of creating Fawkes, using numbered pieces and red or blue dots to line up certain parts of the puzzle so they connect together properly.I pulled out all the sheets of puzzle pieces, laid them across my table and organized them based on what was showing I would use first, second, etc. While that did take me a little more time, it was worth it! I have habit of getting frustrated when I have to shuffle thru things and will just lose interest.The puzzle pieces easily pop out of the sheets.It was pretty easy to build it up, but some pieces can be tricky to fit, so if you try more than once the small tabs can fray out a little.But once its all together, what beauty!The color on the puzzle is fantastic! Such bright, vivid colors! Reminds me of Dia De Los Muertos.The red, orange and golden yellow.....As far as a time frame on long it took, I stopped and started a few times, so it took me a week to complete but it was worth it!And since I am creating an ofrenda in my house for members of my family who have passed, this puzzle will serve as beautiful decoration.

This was a really fun and engaging build—perfect for a Harry Potter fan! The pieces are sturdy, and once it’s all put together, Fawkes looks awesome on display. It took some time to assemble, but that was part of the fun, and it definitely kept my kiddo focused. Makes a great gift for older kids, teens, or even adults who love puzzles and Hogwarts vibes. I gave it 4 stars just because a couple pieces were tricky to snap in, but overall it’s a cool and satisfying project.

highly recommend this for Harry Potter or puzzle fans. This is a very solid 4-D model even though it only uses foam board. Tweezers helped for some smaller connections. The quality of the print is excellent. The design of Fawkes is very well done. Make sure to check the dimensions because the final result is much larger than anticipated. I would happily build this again!
