15yr old fire ant mound/colony wiped out in a couple of days!
I would highly recommend this bait, especially for fire ants. We've had a fire ant mound in our side yard right along the sidewalk since I was a small child, so it's been there 15 to 20 years. I remember my grandma doing everything she possibly could to get rid of them, and nothing ever worked. I reseeded my lawn this year and grass was starting to grow everywhere besides where the fire ant mound was and about 2-3ft out from where the center was. I went out one morning around 10-11 and sprinkled some of the bait right onto and around the mound as well as on they're forging trails and right away they were picking it up and taking it back to the rest of the colony. I went and checked the following day and there were a ton of dead fire ants and hardly any activity. I gave it a couple more days and went and checked and there was no activity whatsoever. I took a shovel and dug into the mound and it was nothing but dead fire ants. I am extremely pleased with this product. Also, one container of it is going to last you a very long time, and it's very easy to distribute, you just sprinkle it right out of the container and there is no mess or hassle.

Harvester ants !!!!
85 stars...I've been fighting red harvester ants for 5 years. These hellions both bite AND sting. Things I've tried (not exhaustive because I can't remember everything): DE, boiling water, Pine Sol, Mouthwash, ACV, Baking soda & vinegar, Soap, Fabric Softener, Grass Killer, Oils, Terro, Ashes, Manure piles, Mowing, planting things on top of them, and finally, building a brush pile and lighting it on FIRE on top of them. Those four-letter-words just walked across the coals going about their business.Enter this stuff: Sprinkle liberally (the shaker top is not good, just take it off and sprinkle) around any entrance holes AT DUSK (keep your pets away if they like to taste toxins). Sprinkle some on their little pathways. Treat every known ant hole you have since these guys network better than Facebook. Should be easy to see where their holes are since they kill all veg in a 3 foot circle. The next morning there were visibly less ants and even some holes had dead ants lying about - these guys collect their dead so visible dead soldiers means they didn't have enough antpower to collect. The next night I did the same application on all holes (I missed one, which served as a nice reference to compare to the treated sites). Some of the sites had made a new hole, which got treated. I will keep a bottle of this stuff on me at all times because of this, the puny fire ants don't stand a chance if this works on the harvester antholes!

Goodbye Ants
I've been dealing with ants all over the place. Not only in the house but outside in the yard. Bought the house 2 years ago and we started noticing more and more ant hills in the yard and then last year ants in the house! I've used every product there is at Walmart and Home Depot and nothing worked to kill the colony. Looking on Amazon to see if there was something that I could get, I noticed this product and the reviews in the past were outstanding. Got my first order yesterday and I right away put it on several ant hills close to the house and around the perimeter of the house. The back of the house I had ants crawling up the concrete and going behind the siding so I sprinkled a little extra on the ground by them. This morning I got to say I see no ants crawling up the side of the house and the ant hills that I have put it on, there are no ants foraging. There were several ant hills that I did not get because I wanted to see if this stuff really worked. These ant hills have ants actively foraging ants all over. I'm going to be attacking those areas today. So far so good and I plan to get more!

They’ve stopped marching
Moved to a new house and apparently there is an ant colony in the rear. They too wanted to welcome us so they just enter the dwelling as they please. It has to stop! Unfortunately I had to cover the area with this product, it doesn’t emit a harsh odor or anything. I guess it depends on your rain fall , to determine how long the ants stay at bay. The rain washes the product the heavier it is.

Ants carried away the whole pile! Ants be gone.
I cannot believe how fast they took to Amdro Ant Killer for Outdoor Home Perimeter granules.I have used granule based ant killer before and they never seemed to go for it.Not the case here, they smelled it immediately and started carrying it off.In combination with Catchmaster DefiANT bait traps, and a pile of Amdro they were gone from my kitchen in 3 days. You may think, 3 DAYS! But I had a colony under my cement slab house so I wanted to make sure they brought treats down to all their buddies, babies and queen so I did not want to just kill them on contact. What worked for me was to first isolate the entrance, then I put up a cardboard perimeter so my cat could not get near the poison. Then I sprayed regular "kill on contact" around the outside of the cardboard perimeter to keep them in one spot. I laid down 1 Catchmaster DefiANT Liquid Ant Bait station and a pile of Amdro Ant Killer about the size of a few grapes. I saw a large stream of ants going after the Catchmaster station for 3 days with their numbers dwindling down to just a couple and I watched the whole pile of Amdro granules disappear in about 2 days.Odd that some liked the liquid bait, others liked the granules so these 2 products together resolved my issue. Will report back if I see anymore from that spot, but I doubt it!They are toast!
