As someone reactive to most fragrances, this new product is a GODSEND. This is the ONLY affordable zinc shampoo on the market that’s also fragrance free. I couldn’t find anything and I’ve been looking quite actively. Consequently I was so excited when Cerave came out with this line. And it has fixed everything, which is such a relief. So thanks Cerave for delivering a product that was sorely needed. And better, making something that I can actually afford to use it as a daily shampoo. I was using TSAL which is a good product in itself but its active ingredient wasn’t addressing the root of my issue perfectly and oh my goodness is that little bottle pricy.I will admit my hair is a little flat using it as my daily but my alternative has been volume and a horrible itchy scalp so I’ll take it. And honestly, that’s probably more the hard water I shower in. If I was using this in soft water I suspect it wouldn’t even be an issue. And it is gentle enough to use daily which is a huge plus. Speaking of — another point for actually being able to work in hard water! So many shampoos leave my hair greasy no matter how much I wash it and I would have to use a clarifying shampoo to remedy it. Not so with Cerave!

I have been struggling with my dandruff since I was a kid. So I know how hard it is to have to deal with dandruff, and honestly I have to say this product is amazing! The first time I tried it; it removed my the dandruff that was laying on top of my hair. I’ve been using it now for 2 weeks. I am so happy and relieved this shampoo worked!!! I also bought the conditioner it does leave your hair super soft, but I also noticed even without the conditioner, the shampoo leaves your hair really soft. I just wish it had some kinda of nice scent to it(I love when my hair smells good). But other than that I love it! Will continue to use it!!!

Both my husband and I were struggling with itchy scalp and noticeable dandruff — to the point where it would show on our clothes, especially dark fabrics. We tried several shampoos, but this one made a real difference.After just a few uses, we saw a clear reduction in flaking and irritation on our scalps. It left our hair feeling clean and refreshed without over-drying.I’m genuinely impressed with how effective it was for both of us. We’ll definitely be purchasing again. I decided not to give it a bad review based on the fact that I know people that this product actually helped. Unfortunately for me this product did help as much as it has for others. Turns out my issue was a little more severe than what this product can do for me and I had to reach out to my dermatologist. I can say my hair actually lived this product between this and my homemade hair mask my hair has been extremely soft, easy to work with (I have 4b hair), and very manageable. My scalp is just the issue in which needs more than this. Overall great product and I will continue to use with the addition of my prescription shampoo and other meds prescribed.

I honestly bought this as a last hope for my scalp and hair but i love it! It’s super hydrating and doesn’t have a strong smell. It works really well for the price and it lathers super nicely. I’ve just recently started getting a super dry and flakey scalp and used multiple things to try and help and none have worked. I used this shampoo and conditioner and i also used a hair mask with coconut oil, peppermint oil, and raw sugar.

Works great. We Have used head and shoulders and wanted to find something less toxic to use. I have wasted a lot of money trying to find another dandruff shampoo that actually works. This one works! So glad I found something and I can ditch the head and shoulders.

My skin and hair are extremely dry, so I get dry, itchy scalp. This does help with the itch, but it leaves my short, fine hair greasy-looking within a couple of hours of washing it. It doesn’t feel greasy, but it definitely looks dirty. After washing, it feels like I’ve washed my hair with conditioner instead of shampoo, which I’m sure is part of why it helps itchy scalp, by not drying out your hair and scalp. Would probably work great for thicker, coarser hair but not great for fine hair. I can’t tolerate fragrance, and I appreciate that this has no fragrance but also doesn’t smell weird like some fragrance free hair products

I bought this for my flaky teen. Not that she's sus or whatever words this generation uses today. She was actually very dandruffy. She does competition dance and it gets a bit noticeable after her hair is slicked back, geled, and sprayed. Another teammate recommended this brand and it works!
