Does a fantastic job cleaning floor and walls
I debate a long time before making the purchase of the Pro model. I watched the TV ads several times, did a lot of research and researched comparison models. I really like the fact that the machine will park itself at the surface level. I just learned how to remotely navigate it to where I'm standing. It does a great job on the floor and walls. I'm no so impressed with the surface cleaning. It seems to take along time to skim the surface and I still had some floating leaves. However, the bottom of the pool looks great and the waterline is the best it has been in a long time. It's a bit heavy to lift out of the water and I made the mistake the first time of turning it off after I took it out. I put it back on the charger and a few minutes later I had water all over the floor. The machine needs some time to empty itself after being removed from the pool. I generally set it on the deck for several minutes or press and hold the Pro mode button to speed it up. This is my first robotic cleaner and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Beatbox Pro Pool Cleaner - 5 Stars
The Beatbot pool sweeper works as described. It is doing a much better job than our aged Polaris was. The internal filter basket on the Beatbox is equipped with a much finer screen material allowing the unit to pick up sand and other small particles. The Polaris primarily picked up leaves and debris. We typically run it every three days which in our case keeps the pool clean. As an added benefit we no longer have the Polaris and its hose permanently in the pool when we swim and are consuming much less energy now that we are not running the auxiliary pump and have less fixed equipment to maintain. The advertised weight of 27 pounds is easy enough for me to handle, but it does weigh a little more when removing it from the pool until the water drains out. I typically set it on the side, remove and clean the filter basket and then store it in the charging stand so it is ready for the next event. My wife has back problems so in her case stooping down to retrieve it from the pool is problematic. The only other downside is that it does not clean the stairs very well. I still gave it 5 stars based on how well it does everything else.Overall, I would and have recommend this to a friend, especially when facing constant repairs to aging infrastructure or a failed auxiliary pump.

Roomba for your pool
Great so far. After starting out with a sub standard Hayward aquabot 600 that crapped out after 18 months I decided to splurge on this guy. It's only been a week but it's been a game changer. The fine dirt/mud/muck that came out of this the first couple runs really made me realize how terrible my aquabot was. The cordless part is amazing as my previous vacuum had no swivel on the cord. What a mess that was. The instructions mention not having the robot in while the pump is running. I did have an issue with the skimmer trapping the bot with its suction while it was passing by in surface skim mode. Not a huge problem but something to be aware of. Other than that it is keeping my pool clean as needed and expected for the price tag. Would definitely recommend and in fact my buddy got one a few days after I recommended it to him.

Almost love it.
I have had this a little more than 6 weeks. It does a good job on the bottom and sides of the pool. Battery life is better than expected. The only drawback is the skimming of the surface. I notice that it's slow pace pushes the debris to the side, rather than collecting. It is faster and more efficient to simply go back to the manual method.I don't regret the purchase, but just wish the surface skimmer worked better.

Happy with it
I have a large pool which I doubt has any straight edges. When I first reviewed this I was going to return it, but instead I decided to buy some of the other robots available to compare. Without names, I bought the one that (in the video goes) after debris in the pool, and another that was a mighty wall climber. They were both in the $7 to 800 range. The first thing that I noticed was that both the other units were not nearly as sophisticated as the Beatbot. The system for keeping it afloat and sinking is far superior in the Beatbot. The other units went to the deep end and died when they ran out of power. Most importantly the Beatbot consistently picks up much greater quantity of debris in the water, and fine dust is caught in the filter. All three units failed with steps. Those just need to be brushed.

does not work in my pool
First off, it's very heavy and I am 85 years old but I can do my best to get it to the pool. Problem is, when it goes to a park mode, it is on the other side of the pool and I have to carry it twice as far.Second, I let it run through it first cleaning cycle and it did not clean the entire floor, not even close. The areas that it did run over were cleaned fine, but what about the rest of the pool. I ran it through three more cycles and it did finally get the entire floor cleaned.Third, I was told it would clean the steps but it does not. There is also two seating areas that it totally ignores.Forth, I tried everything I know to set up the app and nothing works. I keep getting the message "Unable to join the network Beatbot-AquaSense 2 Pro-1055" and I can get no further. I don't ever remember having this much trouble setting up an app and believe me, I have a lot of apps and they all work just fine. If I could get the app to work, perhaps I could fix some of the glitches, who knows. At my age, I do not need all these headaches so back it goes.

after learning the pool
At first use the product seemed like a dream come true. No hassle with a tangling power cord and the actual job it appeared to do on the floor of the pool seemed worthwhile, however when finished there was still debris on the pool floor which being anal was unacceptable, not to mention the cost of the unit. I don 't mind paying a premium price for a product providing I feel I got true value. After cleaning the pool a second time and giving the machine a chance to "learn" my pooI I am impressed with the job it preformed.
