Purchased for my Grandson (new to fly fishing). Zingers are of reasonable quality and appear to work well. Can't vouch for longevity as only just started using.

Heavy Duty retractors
Was so tired of buying smaller cheaper retractors and having them last only for a couple uses . I came across the Booms retractor, I now use for fishing, my work ID/access cards and hunting bag.

A must for fishermen
Excellent gadget for attaching small lightweight fishing tools to Jacket/ vest or even belt loop on trousers. Saves hunting about in fishing bag for equipment. Could even be used to keep car keys handy. Recommended purchase

These retractable zingers are made with quality materials and sturdy construction.

So far so good. The split ring is cheap though. It does not go back to original shape. Its made of the wrong type of metal i think. Real key rings don't permanently deform. These do. The pull strength feels as good as name brand expensive ones.

Got this to use with a forcep. It works well and the spring is strong on the carabiner. Perfect setup for a kid so they don't drop the forcep accidentally into the water.

These are great. I have them attached to my PFD with tools. The only issue is the little attachment is NOT strong and I wouldn’t trust it with anything too nice. I have added extra security with a little zip tie. I do really like these, but that’s my only complaint. They can hold a fair amount of weight as well. I have a multi tool and it has hung many times from it without issue. The cord always pulls back in too.
