320mm Steering Wheel Steel Kit

This is exactly what I needed to finish my custom go kart build and I haven't had any issues with any of the components in fact I don't think I have ever had any issue with PRO BAT products i use to build go karts and mini bikes This is the go kart i used this rack and pinion steering wheel kit on and i haven't had any issues with it at all

Garbage I wouldn’t even use this on a powerwheels car. I had to return this pile after a lot of swearing when opening the box and even trying to make a mount for it. Not even sure how you can even sell this steering rack without specifying that it’s just for show and you shouldn’t ever actually use it on anything you drive. I rated it 5 stars only to get to the top of the comments.

Yeah it works. It’s small, it’s like a 1-1.5 ratio compared to regular go kart steering so it doesn’t give you a great advantage. Doesn’t come with a mount but a motorcycle handlebar riser for a 1in bar works perfectly. It does work, just wish it had came with a mount. The steering column is really short so it will need extending as well as the tie rods if you are using this for a custom go kart.

Input shaft on rack already wobbling and havent even used it yet, just installed.

I ordered the Pro Bat Complete Go-Kart Front end Steering kit to rebuilt the worn out front end of my Sons Go-Cart, Wow! What a difference, the Go Cart steers like a completely new Kart. There was plenty of Father & Son time doing this project too. Priceless. Installation was pretty easy, the rack and tie rods went right in, I had to make a mounting bracket for the Rack. Replacing the steering shaft with the new double U-Joint steering linkage and welding in the new steering wheel bearing hub assembly took a little more work, I finished up the installation by mounting the new steering wheel, last but not least the center filler for the steering wheel that Pro-Bat supplied with the Kit. Pro Bat did a really good job with the parts in the Kit, there were no instructions in the Kit that I received. Laying out all of the parts before I started made it pretty easy to see where everything needed to go, after that measure twice - cut once - weld - bolt together and so on. I gave the Pro Bat Kit a full Five Stars. They did the hard part assembling all of the parts needed for the conversion, We had all of the fun!
