How do you make these? I got them as a gift but I have no instructions.

Back of package reads: INSTRUCTIONS 01) Boil 10 cups of water for every 1 cup of tapioca pearls in a large pot. Add tapioca slowly into boiling pot and stir lightly. 02) Wait until tapioca floats to water surface. Cover pot. Cook in medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Turn off head and simmer for another 2-3 minutes (adjust time to soften tapioca to personal tastes). 03) Scoop out tapioca and let it rest in cold water for 20 seconds. Scoop out tapioca into dry bowl and mix in sugar or honey. SERVING TIPS 01) Prepared tapioca is delicious cold or hot. Add into beverages like milk tea or coffee or into desserts. 02) Please eat tapioca within 4 hours after cooking. 03) After opening package, please refrigerate unused portion and use as soon as possible. WARNING 01) Not to be consumed by children under 3 years of age! Children and elerly should consume under adult supervision. 02) Please be careful when consuming hot drinks and avoid choking on tapioca. 03) White powder surface on tapioca pearls is starch. Large storage temperature differences can cause water vapor inside the package. Both appearances are normal and safe for consumption.

What is the allergen information on this product? I am allergic to dairy, tree nuts and aspartame. Could you please post the ingredients?

The ingredients on the bag I just ordered are: tapioca starch, water, corn starch, caramel, guar gum, sodium diacetate, sodium dehydroacetate, and artificial flavor. To be honest I wouldn't trust that it’s allergen friendly. Who knows what’s in “artificial flavor”. Or caramel...do they mean caramel flavor or actual caramel, which is almost always made with dairy?

How many servings would you say come in this bag?

Depends on how many pearls you like in your drink. Compared to what I get at a Bubble Tea Shop, I’d say 8-10 servings is possible. The other people who responded must add a LOT of pearls to their drinks if they are only getting 5 servings!

What Does It Taste Like?

Mostly just adds an enjoyable gummy-like texture.
