Super cute!
Got this to donate to Toys for Tots and it looked super cute! all the pieces seemed there and it looked like it kids would have alot of fun with it. Overall the build seemed sturdy for being a small inexpensive toy. Its definitely educational and has some really cool papers to go with it. I would recommend this for Kindergarten and up kids. The pieces are small and to really enjoy it you need to read some of the steps

Entertaining but cubes are not square.
The set has plenty of challenges and a good number of cubes in varying colors. All in all it is a great idea and I expect hours of educational entertainment for my kinder. The downside is the cubes in the set are not square, so you have to pay extra attention to make sure you are putting them down right so they hold in place well and the end result looks good. My son (five) was getting irritated by this and doesn't yet have the motivation to figure out how to "do it right", so unless your child has a long attention span, it might be best to wait until they are six or seven.I also didn't realize that the cubes are foam, so I expect them to not hold up very well and get lost easily. If I had read that in the description earlier, I would have purchased a different set.The cubes all came together in a resealable bag, though I wish we were given multiple bags to keep the colors sorted to make building/design a bit easier. There also isn't really enough of each color to make a solid background around the completed designs, so having an extra ten of each color would have been more ideal.

Fantastic Puzzle Activity for Young Kids!
The Learning Resources STEM Explorers Pixel Art Challenge is an absolute hit in our house! Although it’s recommended for ages 5+, we got it for our 4-year-old daughter who loves puzzles, and she absolutely loves this activity. It’s easy enough for her to do on her own and keeps her engaged for a long time. The set is super easy to assemble, and the quality is great. I also love that it comes with multiple picture options, so there’s plenty of variety to keep her entertained. The brightly colored foam blocks make it easy to see and create vibrant, fun designs.Another huge plus is that the blocks are foam, not magnetic, so we don’t have to worry about magnets being around our younger child. This is such a thoughtful and safe design feature.Highly recommend this for any little one who enjoys puzzles, challenges, and learning through play. Great value for your money and an overall wonderful product!

Would be much better if the blocks were plastic instead of foam
I bought this for my almost 3 year old daughter to learn and play with. We own a lot of Learning Resources products and most of them are really great, so when I saw this on a good sale I bought it without looking too closely into the material of the blocks. I assumed they would be plastic, but they are actually foam. I think the product would work a lot better if the blocks were plastic. The foam pieces are too light weight and also not consistent in their size/fit. Even as an adult with proper dexterity I have a difficult time putting together a picture for my daughter to see how it works. The foam pieces easily come out of place and this sometimes causes my daughter to lose interest more quickly because she isn't feeling the progress in creating a picture. I'd like to rate this higher because it's a nice idea, but the foam just doesn't work well enough.
