Sand chairs are just too low for me. This extra inch or 2 is just the right height for me. The lower chairs just hurt my hips after sitting on the beach for hours due to my knees being up so high.This chair is not light, but is made very well. Love the wooden arms and the metal underneath the arms that set the back height. Many beach chairs have resorted to using plastic and it fails.The back could be a little higher. I am 5'5" and my head rests on the metal bar. But it is a beach chair and throwing a towel over the back comforts my head.

This chair is nice, good quality, but definitely not high back. When you recline the chair your head I hanging half way off the top with the metal bar as your pillow. Disappointed.

I am used to the Rio and Tommy Bahama beach chairs. But could not get them for the price I wanted. So I tried this one but it is very average. Simply is not as comfortable as the two I mentioned. Ended up getting a Tommy Bahama beach chair that was used from a friend of mine. Would definitely get a Rio or Tommy Bahama one again. But not this one. Sorry cannot recommend.

After my husband broke his favorite ten year old beach chair last month, we searched for a new one in local stores. All of the nicer ones in the local stores were too expensive. This one we found on Amazon, was the perfect choice. The colors of this one are very pretty and matches my chair shown in the picture. He uses it weekly. Very light weight, easy to carry, has multiple reclining positions and a cup holder. Excellent value!

Real nice chair. The adjustment part is all metal so am not concerned about longevity. Slightly on the heavy side but not horrible. This was my second attempt at a beach chair. First try, the adjustment was plastic and was already broken upon arrival. Had to return the chair. This one is great.

I got this for a trip to the beach and the chair has worked wonderfully. Thought that would be the only thing I used it for but I have taken it with me to several other places that have worked fantastic. So happy I got this.

I used this for my bachelorette weekend at the beach and it was super comfortable! I have back pain so finding a comfy chair was difficult but I am very pleased with this one.

Very good strong product. Highly recommend. Weight limit is 225 though on the tag. I'm sure that matters for some people othwise a great chair with an adjustable carry strap. Weighs about 5lbs.
