I got this little ice machine for my kitchen a little while back, mainly because we were having friends over and I always seem to run out of ice. The box it came in was a decent size, and it fits neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space. It's got a sleek design, so it doesn't look out of place either. Setting it up was really simple, just add water and plug it in. The machine works surprisingly fast. I was a bit sceptical about the "9 cubes in 6 mins" claim, but it genuinely is that quick. It churns out a basket of ice in no time, which is brilliant if you need a lot in a hurry. You can also choose between two sizes of ice, which is a nice touch. I usually just stick to the larger size for drinks. The self-cleaning feature is also a massive win for me. It means a lot less hassle and scrubbing. What I really like about it is the sheer convenience. You don't have to remember to fill up ice trays, and you have a steady supply of fresh ice whenever you need it. It's been perfect for making iced coffees in the morning or for filling up a jug of water when it's warm. The ice cubes are nice and clear, and they don't have any strange flavours. The only slight drawback I've found is that it does make a bit of noise while it's running, a kind of whirring sound as it drops the ice. It's not loud enough to be annoying, but you definitely know it's there. Also, because the ice is just in the basket inside the machine, it will eventually melt if you don't transfer it to the freezer. So you can't just leave it to build up all day. Overall, I'd say this is a great little gadget. It's ideal for anyone who entertains a lot or just wants to have an endless supply of ice without any hassle. It's perfect for a kitchen, an office, or even a bar area. It just does what it says on the tin, and it's been really useful.

Why did you choose this product over others?: The price, was on a good offer saving over £50 off the original price but the speed of making ice was also a factor Ice maker functionality: Produces a lot of ice quite quickly and is easy to set up Ice capacity: It does fill up quickly and need emptying I’d say every two hours or it will stop making it. In about 6 hours I made enough ice to last me 2 months. Quality: Sturdy, good ice and efficient. Slightly loud is my only downfall Compactness: Small, countertop friendly just a bit heavy

Cracking little ice maker. I purchased this a good while ago, so this review is based on that time frame. I am the only person who uses this, so not sure how it would work for a big family. I love my ice, but it was heavy to carry and took up so much room in my freezer, so thought I'd buy this ice maker to make life easier for myself. It works great for me as one person, have a choice of small or large ice cubes, but only used the small setting once as ice cubes were tiny, the large ice cubes aren't anywhere near the size of the ice cubes purchased in a shop BUT that fact does not bother me, and I do tend to crush my ice cubes. It is also alot easier to store in the freezer with the cubes being smaller, plus it is easy peasy to keep making more instead of storing. When the ice basket gets full it will automatically stop making anymore until the basket is emptied, surprising how many ice cubes can be made from one batch of water. Just plug in, fill it with water and leave it to do its job. I only use bottled water in the ice machine, so no issues at all with limescale etc. People think I'm posh for having an ice maker, I just think it makes perfect sense... Looks really good, easy to store and does its job. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic little machine, makes ice quickly. Saving me a fortune because I love crushed iced drinks. Makes niced sized ice, I find the large size a bit smaller than the bagged ice in my local shop, which I'm pleased with because that was always a bit too big. As quick as it says in the listing, in fact, if I try multitasking I often can't keep up with it. On a warm day the first batch might come out a bit small so I tip them straight back in to the water to cool it and get them up to size quickly, probably because my water is room temperature. The bags it came with are great and hold a lot of ice. Can't recommend enough, it's a great machine, makes a lot of ice really quickly in a small package

this countertop ice maker has been a pleasant surprise given my previous experiences. Right out of the box, I was impressed with its sleek design and ease of use. It makes ice fairly quickly although for a good quantity you want to give it some time and it delivers. The machine fits neatly on my countertop, and I love its design. Cleaning is a breeze too, which is a huge plus. Honestly, this ice maker has become a staple at home. I couldn’t be happier with its performance.

Love it, but wish that the size of the ice is bigger

Die Eiswürfelmaschine ist ein tolles Gerät für alle, die im Sommer gerne eiskalte Getränke trinken. Innerhalb einer Stunde war die Maschine aufgebaut, hat sich selbst gereinigt und kristallklares Eis produziert. Die verschiedenen Modi von klein und groß sind großartig, um die Bedürfnisse zu individualisieren. Die Maschine ist leise und arbeitet reibungslos, und hat die perfekte Größe, um sie neben/ in der Nähe eines Gefrierschranks aufzustellen. Dann können die Eiswürfel direkt in einen Plastikbeutel, oder noch besser, in das Glas. Es ist die perfekte Maschine für Sommerpartys oder um vorbereitet zu sein falls das Eiswürfelfach mal leer ist. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Der Plastikbecher, der die Eiswürfel auffängt könnte von besserer Qualität sein. Einige Plastikfäden lösen sich vom Behälter in der Anfangsphase ab. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Tolle Eiswürfelmaschine!

This is a great machine by far. It’s easy to use and works extremely well. I purchased for Christmas for my father. And it’s easy to use for those older people that may have trouble with settings ect. The unit isn’t loud. The ice cubes are great small or big. Very handy and a must have. Highly recommend.

This machine is very compact and very efficient - makes ice cubes in a few minutes - excellent product!

More often than not, I forget to fill the ice cube trays and when I need ice, I have none. This changed that situation completely, now when I need ice, all I need to do is wait around 10min to get enough for the first drink, while a lot more is produced while I drink it. Comes with an ice bag too, that I filled with ice and put it in the freezer. Love it!
