Easy to operate.. good for two cats home

I have no idea why we didn’t think of this before. This is so simple and easy to program. We never miss a feeding. The cats love it. Because I can feed them even at night while I’m sleeping they don’t wake me up in the morning for food. It’s perfect.

I purchased this feeder in 3 months ago and couldn't be happier. It was very easy to program right out of the box. Setting the time and figuring out the correct amount of food and feedings was great. One feeding equals 1/8 Cup of food. Other feeders I've had have been a nightmare figuring this out! This feeder uses a large dial, rather than buttons which are tiny and difficult to use. If you accidentaly go past the number you want, you just turn it back to what you want. It made it really nice and very easy when I needed to reset the time for Daylight Savings, soon after I initially set it up! The screen and numbers are large, which is VERY nice for the eyes and because it is not exceptionally tall, I was able to set it up on a counter under some cabinets in my laundry room. Now I didn't have to sit on the floor to make program changes, which has been WONDERFUL. My cats had a bit of a learning curve with this feeder, since they had used a front feeding, dual feeder before. They had to adjust to picking an actual side, instead of being next to each other. Since they are littermates that has never been a problem, but I can see how this new arrangement would work well for kitties that don't share as well. It holds plenty of food in a compartment that is easy to see when a refill would be necessary. The stainless steel bowls remove easily for cleaning and because they are eating smaller portions more frequently, I'm having less cleanup around the house from them inhaling their food...Definite Plus! They both are healthier because they have lost some weight too, which was another reason I needed this feeder!

I bought 1 in December 2024 to help my cats lose a little weight, bought a second at the start of 2026 when my feral cat moved in and suddenly there were 4 beasts. This is simple to set up, works well, my cats quickly learned the trigger sounds... and with the battery backup, I don't have to worry if the power goes out. My brother even bought the same units for his cats since he can't always guarantee he'll get home at regular hours.

Was easy to assemble and program. Instructions were clear so didn't need to watch the videos that were available via QR code. Came with the power plug which a lot of items don't come with now. My slightly skidish cat was jumpy as the portions dispensed but ate confidently once all food was in the bowl. He also came back and attempted to break in to get more food but was unable to. If anything changes with use, I'll update the review.
