Custom harness for 1200GS
I used this sleeve to create a custom wiring harness to run auxiliary lights/air horn/USB power socket for my BMW 1200GS using the Hex ezCAN power module. I was able to fit 4 16g and 2 18g wires (total of 6 wires). It was crowded but the flex sleeve expanded well enough to provide 100% coverage. I sealed both ends with heat shrink tubing, giving the appearance of a factory installation. No special tool is necessary... just a little patience. If you ride a motorcycle and add any aftermarket electronics (GPS, heated gear, fuse block, aux LEDs, air horn, USB charging port, radar equipment, etc.) this product will protect your wires and keep every your bike looking neat and tidy. There are other alternatives but the TechFlex F6 makes for a superior finished product.

Good quality hands down the best tool for the job.
This tex-flex roll really cleaned up my engine compartment in my 67 Dart. It can wrap 4-5 wires at a time. Then I took fiber tape and wrapped each end. This is what I'll buy from now on. Great price for a low buck DYI project. Clean, and nice look. Good stuff!

Better than you expect. Should be OEM.
Stuff is awesome! Replaced the old, cracked looms on a motorcycle with this and it looks load better than when it was new! Simple to use, but there is a bit of technique to get the wires in easily. Play with it and find your own best way. It DOES expand a bit. I was concerned that a 1/4" would work, but it worked beautifully!

Great product
Pros: it is really easy to use, and you don't really need a hot knife to prevent any loose ends. I just use a lighter to melt it slightly. It seems very tough as well and could help prevent wires from being chewed on.Cons: I noticed while using this to conceal the extra cables for my microphone attached to my headphones that the sleeve tends to twist, and bend into positions if you leave it sitting for a day or two.

Cords 1, conures 0!
This has been a lifesaver- for my avian sun lamps. My conures are huge chewers, and this has finally foiled them. Keeps cords protected from busy beaks. Cut to fit convenience , flexible and durable. Good quality.

Just What I Needed
I bought this to cover my laptop charger, because my cat used to chew on it and it is was un-aesthetically pleasing to say the least. This sleeve was very easy to put on (took maybe 5min to cover the charger), and it feels pretty thick and sturdy. The cord looks a LOT better now, and this should protect it from any future cat chewing. Will definitely be using it to cover other cords as well. My only regret is that I should've bought more!

works well
Works well, I use it a few different things. I bought it for my computer cables but I got the wrong size and is too small. So I used it on my motorcycle and it has worked out very nicely. Looks good and stays put. I haven't used it near the engine so don't know how well it takes heat.

Great if it didn't fray
I use these for cables in my PC to make things neater and cleaner, but when I measure4 out the length I need and cut it, it will inevitably fray and shoot little black strands of plastic all over the place. This is a great thing to have to tidy up loose wires, but even if you melt the ends with a lighter, it will fray and shed all over the place. They work well enough...sort of.The size is fine for a few smaller cables, and it has some pros and cons, it's just hard to recommend because of the fraying. They're just "ok".
