I was slightly apprehensive to spend so much on sponges after reading reviews some saying they split. I've used one for two weeks and have no sign of deterioration whatsoever. I have a dishwasher so mainly use these for pots and pans. I always soak my pots well before washing and these clean them well. They are a bit stiffer but it doesn’t bother me. I've washed some cups etc also and they work well. They might not be suitable for your finest wineglasses but maybe for those, just use a sponge. For really tough burnt food I just got coconut scourer which works wonders. So in a nutshell. These a good. They have enough scraping power for pots, just have a coconut scourer for really tough stains and a cloth or sponge only for fine glasses. Some people complained about food getting caught in them. Any bits are easily rinsed off if you turn the sponge rough side down and rinse under running water. No problem. They look nice. My boyfriend immediately said he loves the look of it and so I gave him one to take home. The obvious reason for buying is they contain no plastic. These type of products are ridiculously expensive though and that's why they'll never become mainstream until something drastic happens with the prices. I hope that drastic happens. I will update this review if I find they don't live up to expectation. If there's no update, it means I'm happy with them. UPDATE: The sponges are still fine, but I actually bough some plain loofah and cut it up in flat rectangles. It makes a fantastic sponge for much cheaper. I actually prefer plain loofah to the sponge fused ones as it's soft and moulds to the hand like ordinary sponge. Natural loofah cut up also has a soft side and rough side. And can be washed in dishwasher. They'll last forever. I'm a natural plain loofah convert. Sorry Seep.

I always keep getting back to them. They are the closest to the conventional, plastic ones. I love that they are compostable and have a cute design. Steep price but worth it.

Would recommend, work great, can clean easily in dishwasher and great that there’s no microplastics - big plus

What great little sponges that do exactly as described. I’m pleasantly surprised at how tough and strong they are and pleased they don’t contain any chemicals or plastics! Will buy some for my family!

These are as good as the traditional plastic green/yellow scourers that we’re all used to - with a couple of caveats: Pros: Clean just as good as plastic scourers Last longer Refresh well in dishwasher No plastic bits coming off in your sink Cons: Price - obviously a lot more expensive, yes they last longer but still pricy. The looser side is prone to splitting especially if you catch on a sharp object like a knife - annoying if it happens early on in the life cycle. Overall I think I will stick with these.
