I love these pens! Pilot G2 pens are my favorite, but I super love the thickness of these for writing heavy and bold. They write very nicely. The thickness makes it look and feel very smooth. The pens are sturdy and good quality (as are all G2 pens), and are a good size.

I suffer from tremors due to functional neurological disorder. This pen helps my handwriting stay legible. It is smooth and thick with a good weight.

I've always enjoyed keeping a journal and I like to have a decent pen to go along with it. Recently I made my way into college and it became more important then ever to find a pen that I really liked. I'm picky when it comes to pens and pencils. For a couple of years I used a Zebra F-701 Stainless Steel Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Black Ink, Fine Point, PK - ZEB29411 . It's got a very nice weight to it (stainless steel barrel), wrote relatively smoothly and felt great to carry around in my front work shirt pocket. But...it never felt quite right to me. It just didn't provide the thickness of ink I desire when writing. A few years ago I was helping Santa find a few things to add to my mother's stocking and I found her a Tombow OBJECT Roller Ball Pen, Ergonomic Design, Golden Orange (55031) . After my mother opened it and I had a chance to give it a try, I fell in love. It instantly replaced my F-701. It wrote very smoothly, looked great, felt amazing in the hand and the ink was thick and black. I soon purchased my own. Then I started to shop around for college supplies last summer in preparation. Buying school supplies sure is fun! While at walmart I saw these pens on the shelf and I decided to pick a package of 2 of them up just to throw in my backpack to use as a backup to my Tombow, or to perhaps use for some note taking so I didn't waste all of my ink in my Tombow. I opened them up later that day. Instant love! I couldn't believe how smooth these wrote! How thick the ink was! How black and dark the ink came out! These were meant to be just cheap throw away pens! I was astonished! The bold point Pilot G2 pen is hands down the greatest writing pen I've ever used. I prefer the feel of the all stainless steel Zebra F-701 Stainless Steel Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Black Ink, Fine Point, PK - ZEB29411 and I prefer the elegant looks of my blue Tombow OBJECT Roller Ball Pen, Ergonomic Design, Petrol Blue (55032) but neither of them come close to how well the G2 writes! I love everything about how the G2 writes! I haven't touched my Tombow since trying the G2's out. I keep one in my work shirt pocket, keep them in my backpack, keep one on my nightstand and in my junk drawer. I use them for my journaling, I use them for everything in college (notes, tests, essays, etc.) and I use them as much as I can for everything else that requires a pen. It may seem silly to be so excited over a pen. But I've been on a very long search to find a pen that I loved to write with. This pen is that pen for me. It's a true joy to use!

Great product EXCEPT the BOLD NAVY ink looks black. Suggest you get BOLD BLUE if you want blue.

Only pen I will purchase. I prefer the 1.0 bold point. Comfortable in hand, smooth, easy to read, less likely to poke holes in papers when writing. Seems to last longer than most pens, and haven’t had one leak. Definitely a quality pen.

I love this pen because it is smooth, no glitches no spots. It dries quickly on the paper. I used previously the 0.7 and 0.5, and today i choose to use the1.0 for bolder effect. 0.7 is finer as you can imagine. The 1.0 is bold and clean smooth lines. I use them all for drawing as well as writing to create density in the pictures. Nice pens.
