Inflatable SUV Tent for Camping, Large Quick Setup Blow Up Tents, 6-Person Tent with Detachable Car Attachment, Tents with Storage Bag &Projection Screen, Waterproof

The air beams on this SUV tent are shaped the same as tunnel tents designed for extreme wind on the worlds tallest peaks. As a result, during a major wind storm, you can point the SUV into the wind and the rounded beams will easily slip through the wind. The materials and construction are of very high quality which should yield a long life. I use a Boston valve adapter on my electric car tire pump to completely inflate the tent in under 5 minutes while I do other camp chores. This both eliminates the requirement to have the manual pump take up space/weight and dramatically reduces total erection time. The SUV tent is adequately vented to minimize condensation when used in cold weather while at the same time preventing rain or bugs ingress. At 5’ 11”, I able to easily stand under the lengthwise air beam for dressing and undressing. This SUV tent has dramatically added to my enjoyment of SUV camping in windy, rainy, buggy, and/or cold weather. I can also use it as a stand alone shelter on my wooden deck. The review entitled “Not Impressed” addresses a problem of air beams folding in high wind. Ideally this problem can be avoided by pointing your SUV into the wind. In cases when this is not possible: an example is you need the SUV to go somewhere and the shelter is in stand alone mode. You can take your tent awning down and use 2 of the 3 pole sections per side, plus the 2 adjustable webbing straps, used to bundle the tent, to reinforce the 2 windward beams against high winds. This configuration is shown in my second photo.

Easy to set up. 30 minutes or less. Fit onto car easy. Sturdy. Worth the money.

It is not really sturdy. You have to stake it down or it doesn't stand. It didn't hold its air. The second night it did hold better, but I had to remove all the spacers so I could really tighten it down. Not really impressed

I hesitated to order this SUV tent due to its price and inability to "test it out" first. $400 is not cheap, and that price rivals high-quality regular tents. However, this inflatable tent will work with most SUVs. It works very well with our Infiniti QX60. Having the large tent and the vehicle to use for space makes camping with it extremely nice. We recently took this tent on a camping adventure in the Pacific Northwest, and it exceeded all our expectations. At first glance, the setup appeared a bit intimidating, but my wife and I managed to have it ready in no time. The inflatable design does most of the heavy lifting, allowing us to enjoy the process rather than struggle. It's nice to be able to set up other things while it gets inflated. There's no messing with a bunch of tent poles and accessories. This tent comfortably accommodates our family of four and our dog, creating a cozy home away from home. I appreciated the detachable car attachment, which provided convenient access to our vehicle for additional storage and space. The extras, like the storage bag and the projection screen, are nice to have. Although we didn't use the projection screen this time, we have a traveling projector that we can use next time. I forgot it had a screen before we left, so I didn't bother bringing the projector. The tent's waterproofing is great, too, which is a requirement here in the PNW. You never know when the rain will hit.

I recently tried out this inflatable SUV tent on a weekend camping trip, and it was a game-changer. Setup was super quick—just blow it up and you’re good to go. It comfortably fit our group of six, and the detachable car attachment made it easy to access the SUV for extra storage. I really liked the added touches like the storage bag and projection screen, which made the experience even better. Plus, it held up well in the rain thanks to the waterproof design. Great tent for road trips or car camping!
