Pumpkin Pal - Black

I have hosted pumpkin carving parties for the last 7 years and this is one of the best finds I have made in the last few years. The scooper that comes with the carvers and templates is worthless. I have tried several of the larger metal scoopers which are good, but they break and/or dig giant ridges into the pumpkin. I was really skeptical of this scooper and it surprised me. I was able to scoop the inside super thin so it make carving a breeze. I wound up doing 3 pumpkins because it was so quick and easy so they were just ready for people who showed up for the party to start carving. I cannot say enough great things about this scooper!

These things are small enough for young hands, sturdy enough for adult hands, and smooth out the inside of a pumpkin in no time flat. I ordered 3 for a family pumpkin carving party a week or so ago. They arrived almost immediately and were heavily used (about 10 of us carving our own individual pumpkins). I've always had a slight issue with leveling the inside bottom of a pumpkin for candle holders....not with this tool! Additionally, there were quite a bit fewer 'stringies' inside than with a regular scoop or spoon.

The Pumpkin Pal is smaller than I expected. It is 2.75" in diameter with a 2" handle. I haven't tried it yet, but it is sturdily built. There should be little chance of it breaking during use. Although small, I still give it 5 Stars because it should work well.

For the price just buy it, this saved me a lot of time with the cleaning of pumpkins. It is not a miracle you will still put in some work to clean them but compared to not having one it is night and day difference. Buy Now!!
