Worked great on 13" Macbook Air (M1). One key thing though, is that the computer will not turn on until you plug the Macbook into USB power for the first time. After the first power on then everything normal. Worked great, no faults or errors reported.

2 months later appear a vertical band in the screen, on top of that the colors are not at good as the original, they are faded... Not recomended at all

I read and read, watched youtube videos, and looked at reviews of several screens to replace on my macbook. Why are some screens $20 more? Why are some $40 more? Will my camera still work after I replace the screen? Is it really going to take me 15 minutes? Those screws are TINY and my hands are very large. My eyesight may not even see the screws once they're on the table. Oh well, I don't want to pay $800 for a new screen when I can just buy a new macbook for $795. I thought I'd gamble the $200 and see what happens. I replaced my iphone screen and and now I no longer have the ability to use my fingerprint (I have to log in with a passcode...like a caveman), so I expected maybe a screen, maybe blurry, maybe the camera will be upside down or make me look bald or something. Well, it all worked perfectly. Even better than I read about or watched on youtube. The guy on youtube was awesome, ubergeeks, and even he had some trouble with screws, getting the wifi cables plugged in. Nothing serious, he just didn't get them on the first try. I did. I got lucky. Wow was it easy. And everything works!!! Like it was the original screen. I am so amazed, relieved, and thankful. I highly recommend this to anyone who can build an ikea bookshelf on their own. Same difficulty, smaller scale.

The actual display seems to be functioning properly, but the camera won’t turn on at all. Additionally the packaging didn’t include the correct bit size to unscrew the screws that hold the display in place, so I had to purchase one separately.

There was no P5 screwdriver included with this kit that’s required to open the back screws. There was only a T3 and T4 screwdriver and almost stripped my screws because they’re too large. I had to spend an extra $10 on a separate tool kit to complete this project. Once the new tools arrived, installation took 30 mins and the screen works perfectly. Great product, just a major inconvenience without the proper tools.
