The installation instructions are pictographic, so OK if you are an IKEA fan. Some parts are already assembled, which is a bit confusing. The screws that hold the ceiling shroud in place need to be unscrewed from the fitting before the shroud can be fitted. It is quiet. I had an AC fan before and it whined like an abandoned puppy. This DC fan is silent even on higher settings except for the sound of the air moving, which is constant and subliminal. The loud beep sound on every input from the remote has been mentioned in earlier posts. Based on this I removed the sounder from the PCB - a simple job but be aware there is an on the board resistor directly below the sounder, which you don't want to damage. The colour temperature of the light can be set from the remote so it always comes on at that setting. The dimmer works by pressing and holding the + or - button. At the 2 setting (of 6) there is a pleasant cooling breeze. 6 would probably induce hypothermia. The reverse button seems to do nothing but the fan gently slows, hesitates and then reverses direction. Overall this is an excellent ceiling fan.

Fantastic fan! The electrician said it was straightforward to fit too. Have only needed it on setting 1 & when it was really humid recently setting 2.....I don't think I'll ever need any of the other settings. My bedroom is 13ft by 11.5ft & this is just perfect giving off so much of a breeze & looks so stylish! SO quiet....you only hear a slight whirring if you go to setting 4 upwards & the 3 different light settings which can also be dimmed are a bonus too. Great item.

Took a while to install because the existing house wiring prevented me from sliding the control unit in place. Eventually I made 2 flat spacers 7mm thick to stand off the bracket from the ceiling. This did the trick, and 30 minutes later it was up and running. I am impressed with the design. It really is high quality unit, and looks very attractive. I am also extremely impressed with how quiet it is - like totally silent at low speeds, and just slight wind noise at higher speeds. Because the motor is a brushless DC design, there is no humming or buzzing noise which would happen if it was AC mains powered. It is installed in our bedroom, and we find the lowest speed is just right most of the time, and it provides a peaceful and calming effect, conducive to sleep. The remote control is easy to use, and the fan remembers how you last set it. Initially I was disappointed that the light colour temperature could not be adjusted - there's nothing about it in the instructions, but the specifications said it was a feature. After playing with the remote - EUREKA! I found out how to do it. Just hold the light button down and repeatedly press the + or - buttons and it will cycle between the 3 colours (cool, day, and warm). Overall, this is a fabulous ceiling fan. It is attractive, whisper quiet, easy to use, and above all excellent value for money. I cannot imagine there is a better unit anywhere, and at any price. I cannot recommend it enough.

Its a great fan. It works well and is very effective and most importantly for a bedroom, it's quiet. However the installation instructions were very poor, making it much more of a job than should have been the case. It looks very nice in situ, it's minimalistic and does not draw attention to itself. I have the white side down which l think is best against a white ceiling. The remote is efficient but quite large and takes up space on my bedside cabinet as l didn't want to make drill holes to mount it on the side wall. If the bracket had been smooth on the back, l could have used double sided tape or similar.

Bought this to replace a much more expensive fan and can honestly say I can't tell the difference. Just as quiet and powerful and looks great. This was easier to install than the last one too! Remote works well. Recommended

Ordered 5, Nice and quiet, Great air movement, Only using setting two out of six at the moment, They also pull air up if you wish. No vibration in walls or ceiling. Remotes are independent for multiple fans, 1-6 speed fan settings, Light has bright LED or warmer setting, Light brightness is adjustable to very low and bright. As all fans, make sure they’re installed to a solid joist etc.. and use a sparky to install if unsure. Been looking for a while on type etc… very happy! In use for over two weeks.

Super efficient fan and light, this draught produced by the fan even when in slow mode makes a considerable difference to the room temperature and dsespite this is still not noisy. The LED light unit below provides an excellent added bonus

Powerful fan that cools the room at night even on speed 1 not sure I’ll ever use 6 speed, It is quiet on speed 1&2 but obviously does get louder as speed is increased however, still not too loud. Remote is handy and choice of 3 lights WW (warm white) NW (natural white) and DW (daylight or dynamic white) but is labeled as cool in the manual not sure why. But they all dim which is brilliant and they are all bright in max,.
