These locks feel decently sturdy, and we got them just to secure some cabinets in a shared area. Easy to use with the keys provided, and it's nice that they are adjustable on the length when locking or unlocking. Decently priced, I'd say worth it if you're not looking for anything super heavy duty.

Great lock overall. Highly recommend to oil it up once a month if kept outside because it will get difficult to open.

Having to use these on the pantry cabinets to help keep a dementia patient from overeathing. That may sound bad, but we have 3 meals a day, plus snacks in between. She is at a healthy weight, but starting towards dementia. Now, when she gets up in the middle of the night, she can't get a chocolate bar or crackers and have them all in her bedding.

These are perfect for securing closed handle cabinets. They do not work on my double door storage cabinet because the handles are open ended and go from wide to narrow. Takes little effort to slide them off. Not the fault of the lock. It's sturdy and slides easily. Great for a cubical office environment where you just need a little extra security. I would not put it on a public storage unit or anything that is vulnerable to mischief. The lock is spring loaded and you must have the key pressed to the unlock position to slide the lock either way (opened or closed).... which means the person who closes it must have the key. Not a concern if this is a personal lock but if it's a community cabinet (like coffee or office supplies) such that you want the 1st person in to open it and the last person out to close it, then keep in mind both must have a key.

We needed a way to add a lock to office french doors (regular nobs) and this worked perfectly. We added an inside slide lock to one door that locked it to the floor and top frame for added stability then locked the loose door to it from the outside using this. Easy way to lock them without changing the nob out and carving into the door.

Very useful and reliable product

I wouldn't have to buy so many if I stopped forgetting it on my bumper... until then, I'll keep buying this one again.
