Poor quality and the water did not get heated. There the smell of a burn and a very big noise

I seriously thought about calling a nail spa and asking what they would charge to let me just sit in a chair and soak my feet in bubbling water. No pedicure. Pedicure is $40, which includes maybe a 6-minute foot soak. Business is slow, especially Monday through Thursday, so maybe they'd rent me the chair and bubbly soak for $15 or $20. Once. So I decided to see what was available to own. To use as often as I wish. This is it. My own foot spa with bubbles. I love it! The only fault I can find with it is it's a tad noisy. But as I sat relaxed I soon thought of it as white noise, something I could meditate to and thus let my spirit dance right along with my happy feet. For the cost of 1 and a half nail salon chair rentals I now have my own footspa. It is everything I'd hoped it would be. Using it in the evening before bed, I discovered when my feet are happy, I sleep better. The instruction booklet is useful and informative. It says not recommended for diabetics. I am diabetic. I think that's a clause for insurance purposes, as it is possible for someone with advanced diabetes to have no sensation in their toes or feet. They could start with water that is too hot. They could have ulcers or blisters on their feet that need to be treated medically. Also, as per instruction booklet, the footbath will not heat cold water. I find that filling with warm, nearly hot water to the fill line, putting my feet in and turning it on, the water retains the warmth for 10 to 15 minutes. Possibly longer, but I found that a 10-minute bubbling soak does wonders for my feet. Lastly, booklet says do not put any additives in the water. Possibly something might clog the jets. But I put in a splash of white vinegar, on recommendation by my podiatrist. If anything, I'd think it would keep the jets clean and humming.

I found after a few minutes of the bubble being on, there was an electrical smell, like the battery was over heating. This was kind of disappointing as I would have liked to keep the bubble on longer. Other wise the size and the depth is good, and I like that it is light to carry.
