The speed is impressive — even large files transfer in just seconds, which saves a lot of time. For the price, it definitely feels like good value because you’re getting performance and reliability. I also like that it doesn’t overheat, even when I use it for longer periods. The storage capacity is more than enough for my needs, and the size is perfect — small, lightweight, and easy to carry around like a regular flash drive. This thumb drive is small yet has great capacity at 1 TB. It is compatible with any device that can use either a standard USB or newer USB-C port making it quite versatile. The cost was mid-range but at the lower end. I like the fact it is metal and looks like it could hold up well if it had a few drops or knocks. I have used it for several months and it works perfectly. I have no fear of data loss.

I’ve been using the MOVE SPEED SP05 512GB SSD for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the most convenient portable drives I’ve owned. The dual-port push-pull design is genius, switching between USB-A and USB-C is smooth and secure, with no caps to lose or ports to damage. It works flawlessly with my iPhone 15, Android tablet, and laptop. Speed-wise, it delivers on its promise. I transferred a 1GB video file in just a couple of seconds and is super impressive for such a compact device. The zinc alloy casing not only looks sleek and futuristic but also feels solid and durable. I’ve tossed it in my bag, dropped it once, and it still works perfectly. The included braided lanyard is a nice touch—it clips easily to my backpack and makes it easy to carry. It’s clear the brand put effort into both design and customer experience.

The MoveSpeed works great to transfer photos & videos from your phone to your computer. The MoveSpeed has USB-C on one end and the other end is USB-A (the original USB), the USB-C connects to my iPhone no problem. Both ends can be hidden (retracted into the closure) for travel and each end is retractable. The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars (wish 1/2 stars were an option, bc I would make it 4.5 stars) is that if you aren’t careful pushing it all the way into your phone it may come loose. But I would definitely recommend this product, it makes life a lot easier for moving or sharing data. The fact that you have 1TB of storage in the size of a thumb drive for that price is pretty awesome.

I'm typically used to the thumb drives that most of us used in school so when I got this SSD USB, it exceeded all of my expectations. It's an incredible upgrade for the old thumb drives because it's really fast in upload and download speeds and the storage capacity feel so vast. I have three different computers and it took me about less than an hour to consolidate about 116 GB into it which is wild to me. I'll be using this primarily for my macbook for storage transfer. If you are looking for a SSD that looks like a thumb drive, is compact enough to take on the go, works and transfer really fast and is way sturdier than typical thumb drives, HIGHLY recommend giving this a shot. I'll likely buy a 1 or 2TB one next. The dual USB C and USB A ports makes transfer so much easier without needing any extra adapters or cords. No need to download any extra software to use the SSD either.

I purchased this back in September 2025, I was going to use it to backup my family photos and glad I didn't, when I first got the drive I tried it out, formatted it and all was good, I copied a 100mb file over just to try it out, and then I had something to go do and forgot about it so it just on my desk so today I had time to finish backing up my family photos and plugged in the drive and it showed it was only 32gb, I tried formatting several times with different settings and it was still showing 32gb, my return window ended in October so my loss now and I'm so glad I didn't backup my family phots or they would have been lost forever, Stay Away From This Product & I'm Also Staying Away From Buying Anything From MOVE SPEED.

_____UPDATE_____ I'm extremely disappointed with this USB drive. The capacity only fills up to 20 GB, which is not what I paid for. What's even more concerning is that the drive seems to have a locked partition that prevents me from reformatting the drive. It seems like there may be a locked partition or even malware on the drive, as I'm unable to reformat it. I've tried to reformat the drive, but it won't allow me to delete my personal files. This is unacceptable, especially since I need to return the drive to Amazon. The fact that the drive is locked and won't allow me to erase my data is a major security concern. To make matters worse, I've tried to contact the seller, but they've ignored my messages and provided no assistance. I've also reached out to Amazon's customer support, but they've been unhelpful in resolving this issue. Despite following their return process, I'm still unable to return the drive or get a refund. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The locked partition and limited capacity make it seem like a scam. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality and performance of this USB drive, and the lack of support from the seller and Amazon has only added to my frustration. ___UPDATE____ About a week later the seller reached out to me. After some back and forth they offered a full refund and sent me a new unit. Its been a about a week and the new unit works fine. The USB is fast and good quality. The seller explained that the bad USB might of gotten corrupted in transit. Overall I'm satisfied. Judging by how the seller responded i would buy form them again.
