Good protector, very easy installation for a trade off.
UPDATE AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS AT BOTTOM.Cover was easy to install: took about 10 minutes with very little struggle, included guide was perfect. Even without turning up touch sensitivity I found responsiveness to be very good. However, it has many downsides.-Black frame is slightly too small and obscures screen edges, especially corners; it is not terrible, but with so many other affordable options there is no reason to put up with this; product images seem to show a small amount of bezel showing under the black edge but this is not the case, you will not see any of the phone's bezel-Rainbowing (a.k.a. Newton Rings) are a normal part of having two pieces of glass touching; if quality of the cover was higher (and more expensive) this might not happen but seller should mention it to customers - only way to avoid would be full screen adhesive which would make installation trickier, too; the effect is especially present where the screen curves and must touch the protector-Edge adhesive is not consistent all the way around; if a drop of liquid touches an edge (especially along the sides where the adhesive line is thinner) it will get sucked under the screen protector due to capillary action; only way to get it out is to lift protector off and compromising the adherence of the protector (allowing it to dry could leave mineral deposits rubbing between the screen and protector)-May be better for some users depending on what phone case they are using, but with the slim case I use there are 2-3mm portions of exposed screen along the edges; corners are particularly vulnerable (did not deduct stars on this point because it may work well with a bulkier case)This protector is barely worth it. Ease of install was the only major plus.UPDATE: Happy to be contacted by seller, will gladly update review when replacement arrives.UPDATE:-Replacement protector has tolerances even better than the very close match it was before: speaker cut out is a perfect fit, black outlines are almost indistinguishable from the bezel. I am actually quite impressed by how tight the tolerances are on the replacement. The newer protector also solved the problem of the old protector corners obscuring a tiny but significant portion of the screen.-The edge adhesive seems more consistent this time around, however I would still avoid contact with liquids in case they infiltrate the edge and force you to remove the protector. That said, I have not tested how it would perform if submerged or splashed.-Installation was still a breeze, especially considering how finicky full-adhesive screen protectors are. Still, be extremely rigorous about dust and specks before you install. The dry wipe included in the package seemed to release its own fibers as well. Removing the cover later will compromise the very thin adhesive lines. Also, because it is not completely adhered you get a trade off: Rainbowing.-Rainbowing is interestingly both better and worse: worse because it occupies a larger portion of the screen than the last protector; better because it is less noticeable overall and seems reliant on the type of lighting. Under most situations it is very difficult to see the rainbowing although it is definitely there at certain angles (usually angles in which you would not be using the phone anyway). However, I have a particular room in my home that uses a combination of warm and cool fluorescent light bulbs that seems to bring out the rainbow effect. Attached image shows effect, but again it is practically invisible 95% of the time.-The dot matrix of the screen also seems to be more visible under certain lighting conditions, but I could not pinpoint them. This never happened when I was actually using the phone so it is of negligible effect.-GearVR: I am happy to report that the screen cover does not appear to affect the quality images when used in a GearVR. The fit is a bit tighter but not a problem.UPDATE: spoke too soon, the dot matrix on the protector can be seen warping/magnifying pixels, especially in large single color areas with no motion. Also, when there is a large amount of contrast (white on black, for example), the lighter colors appear to "bleed" and appear as a halo, which is the reflection of the lighter areas off the protector. These issues are situational but are noticeable, perhaps even unbearable since the Note 9 is the ideal phone for GearVR. Since GearVR is probably not a general-use case I am not deducting stars.-Cooling: I am trying to keep the phone for as long as possible so am very conscious of the need to keep the phone as close to room temperature as possible. As most would probably guess, the screen protector has a negligible affect according to 3C Battery Monitor.-I am a sucker for good customer service, they definitely stand by their product and want it to be the best for their users. I give the product itself 4 stars due to the rainbow effect (which is possibly unavoidable with any edge-adhered screen protector), but add a star for proactively assuring customer satisfaction.

Had some issues people have described and a solution
Long read but if you have had problems read this. This seller has great customer service and very prompt in addressing any problems. There's a couple issues with this screen protector that is mentioned in other reviews. Theses things include it falling off after a few weeks, easy breakage from light bumps. I think if figured out the potential issue with these complaints.**FIX FOR PROBLEMS THAT A FEW COMPLAINTS MENTIONED IN THE REVIEWS AT THE END OF THIS**POTENTIAL INSTALLATION FRAME ISSUESI'll explain shortly but I'd like to say I'm a phone fanatic and a app developer as well. I've installed many, many screen protectors through the years which includes installations for friends and relatives, because they either had previous issues or installed incorrectly. So this is far from my first rodeo. My first install of this one on my own phone broke. The frame was properly attached, I was meticulous about placing the protector in the frame and everything seemed great, until...While smoothing out the edges to ensure a good fitment I noticed just a very slight "tick" sound when rubbing the edges in certain areas. Then "crack" it broke, right at one of those locations. I doubled checked all my edges and everything was lined up perfectly so I know it wasn't my install. I just figured it was a QC issue in manufacturing and the tolerance was a hair off.So I contacted them and they immediately sent me another one. I can't stress though how great this company is with customer support!!! I wish more sellers were like them.Ok protector #2 arrived and I lined everything up perfectly again, installed and heard the slight crackling again, UH OH...This time I checked the edges and there was a clear gap on the edges and if I put just a little too much pressure it would break once again. What makes me think this is the installation frame was that again this happened and their could be some imperfections on the plastic frame. Also oddly enough the protecter looked just slightly angled off center, just the tiniest bit, but I noticed that the top speaker slot, camera, led slots all lined up PERFECTLY. So if it was off center even sightly they should have been slightly off center as well. So it's puzzling but I ended up fixing it anyways so we'll see how it holds up in the next few weeks.IMPORTANT TIPSlisten well when rubbing the edges to secure when finished install. If you hear any slight crackling sound you can potentially break it by just rubbing it as there's a slight gap on the edge and they are a VERY sensitive area. This also means that if there's gap that dust can enter which eventually cause the protector to fall off over time.FIX:Now this is what I did to fix it but I have a lot of phone repair experience like battery replacement, installing new back cover plate and seals etc. If you are comfortable with these instructions feel free to proceed but do not attempt if you feel you might not be able to do this. If done wrong or in a hurry you will just break the protector so BE CAREFUL!!!.When opening up the back cover for replacing parts, battery etc you need to heat up the cover to be able to soften the adhesive enough for removal. You can YouTube videos on this process but this is not actually what we are doing but don't worry about damaging the phone as Samsung repair centers do this very same thing to the Note 9.I decided to attempt the same thing to remove this screen protector. The adhesive on this protector at the top and bottom bezels is EXTREMELY STRONG. This is why heat is needed. The curved sides aren't as strong but you'll heat up the entire edges of the protectors regardless. You'll need a regular old hair dryer and a very slim piece of semi-rigid flexible plastic kind of like what often is included in phone repair kits. I honestly just used my finger nails because I figured it might break anyways so I didn't really much care.Turn off your phone and lay it on something soft like a towel. Use the hair dryer and begin going around all edges slowly taking a little bit more time on the top and bottom bezels because of the adhesive strength at those two areas. The phone will get hot but don't worry.Check the YouTube videos on note 9 repairs and they ALL state the phone will get hot, sometimes hot to the touch, some even using gloves. (I did not)After you've heated it a bit try to gently side the plastic I mentioned (or fingernail) under the BOTTOM bezel because there's no slots or cutouts like at the top which can cause it to break easier. You might need to heat it more but definitely as you progress keep applying heat intermittently. If you get some resistance then apply more heat. Once you've got the bottom adhesive loosened (don't start pulling up just yet) make your way around both edges leaving the top for last. Again Z being gentle here IS KEY and do not start lifting up until you've got the bottom and the sides loose. Reapply heat at you go along if you get major resistance. You will still get a little resistance on the top and bottom no matter what so just be careful and patient.Once these areas are a bit loose heat up the top again really hot. Then starting at the bottom start pulling it up very gently appplying more heat as you go of needed. When you get near the top you even need more careful because of the cutouts. If done correctly and carefully you should be able to remove it without any damage. Now THROW THAT INSTALLATION FRAME AWAY and just line it up correctly manually by using the top cutouts, especially the SPEAKER slot as it's so small and a little difficult to line up. Keep it at an angle so you can get closer and see your lined up. Lay it down from top to bottom and check your fitment. If everything's good continue, if not you have to re-apply which risks getting dust underneath etc.Once you have everything good rub the sides again at first and after re-heat the phone once again. You want to heat up the adhesive again to make sure you get a good seal. After heating rub all the sides again thoroughly and you're done. Listen for any crackling and if you don't hear anything you are good.I did it the first time with no problems and I didn't get any crackling afterward. The only issue I have is there's just a tiny line at the bottom of the protector because I used my fingernails, from dirt possibly under my nails (yes my nails are clean but we get stuff underneath we can't always see. ) If I had used plastic as I described then it wouldn't have been an issue. If you don't have any thin plastic that works then just find an old credit card or something similar that you don't use anymore and then sand it down thinner at one of the corners and use that.I personally feel that people who've had issues with the protecter coming off was due to barely noticeable gaps on the edges which allow dust and dirt to get into.Hopefully this information helps someone who is encountering problems.See attached photos for the problem and end results.

Perfect Fit and Crystal Clear — Couldn’t Ask for Better!
The amFilm Galaxy Note 9 Screen Protector is seriously impressive! It fits perfectly, feels super smooth to the touch, and keeps the screen looking crystal clear. Installation was way easier than I expected, and there were no bubbles at all. 5 stars because it protects my screen without messing with the look or feel of the phone — exactly what I wanted!

Smudges easily
I've ordered this 3 times over the years. Until this time, the product was excellent. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality has gone downhill. This screen protector gets smudged much more easily than the earlier ones. I don't recommend it.
