Photo is misleading, as there is no icing inside the packaging. Only the cake mix. The taste isn't that nice as well.

Great cake mix! I add applesauce and make caramel icing or add a can of pumpkin purée make cream cheese icing. I do add an extra egg to help bind. I always get compliments and it disappears quickly.

Added instant pudding, 4 eggs instead of 3, and milk instead of water to it and it was yummy! Made it on a Bundt pan. Really moist with a homemade texture. Didn’t even need frosting.

Used an 8 x 8 pan, 350 for 45 minutes and substituted applesauce for the oil. Didn’t use a blender, just mixed and beat it well for a couple of minutes. I beat all the wet ingredients first, then added the mix. Turned out great. I’m not putting anything on it, just a little butter when I heat it for a few seconds in the microwave. It’s for my husband to use in place of bread with his dinner. He’s trying to gain weight and every little bit helps. This is really excellent cake.

Nice companion with pumpkin puree for a quick treat. Adds quite moist, spongy glamour to my homemade snack. Well worth the price and short wait.
