Use this awesome shower head as a foundation for an excellent DIY setup!
What you're seeing in the picture is three separate components from three separate manufacturers that, when put together, makes for a BULLETPROOF handheld shower setup. We initially spent over $70 on a Delta In2uition shower head setup that was complete plastic garbage. It's a shame to pay that much for plastic junk. I returned it and went on a mission to build my own leakproof and durable setup. I started with the shower head holder, which in most kits is almost always plastic. Folks, this Hammerhead shower holder is THE holder you've been looking for if you want something durable that does not leak. It's hefty and made from solid brass/metal and is so easy to install. Grab yourself a roll of MegaTape thread seal tape, wrap your pipe a few times (I did three), and screw on the holder. With plastic kits it can be quite easy to cross thread the fitting, causing immediate leaks. This holder goes on super easy without cross threading, making a solid seal. I then made sure I bought a metal hose that too was durable. I combined it with a Sakaika 6 function shower head that had excellent reviews and boom, had a complete setup that didn't leak (the head even came with instructions on how to remove the flow regulator). It has awesome pressure and is stylish as well with it's brushed nickel finish. Do yourself a huge favor and build your own setup, starting with this shower head holder. You will not regret it. The price I paid for all the components (holder, hose, and head) was around the same price I paid for the Delta and far exceeds the junk they're trying to sell.

“The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded.”
We were on the fence whether to buy one of the economical plastic shower holders or buy this quality all metal (chromed brass). The cheap plastic ones work but after we counted up the number of times we have either repaired them or replaced them we chose to buy the HammerHead all metal. We are very pleased with our purchase.I've taken off one star, a bit nit picky of us, because the chrome came pitted. It's on the side we don't see so we installed it (looks very good) but you would think for the trouble they go to make this unit the Q.C. would be a bit higher to match the finish of what you might pair it with (Graff, Kohler, Rohl, Grohe etc). Another issue is that the pointed corners are very sharp to the touch - no joke, like you don't want to press too hard or run you finger over them - that sharp (photo). Regardless, happy with purchase.

A few bulbs short of a chandelier...
Two showstoppers: 1) The swivel has very little travel - with the original plastic one that came with my Waterpik, I could tilt it so the spray went almost straight down. With his one, the limit is maybe 45 degrees (see the above photo). 2) The part where the hose slips in is too small for the housing, so the head is precariously stuck there with only about 1/4 inch of it inside the bracket. Sending it back and trying another one. On the plus side, it comes in an attractive little cloth drawstring bag because as everyone knows, we all take this with us everywhere we go...

Just What We Needed
We have a Culligan filter shower head. If you have one, you know how heavy it is. But for our rusty well water, it really does the trick in terms of removing the sulfur smell. Which is why, despite the fact that the holder broke on our original one, we bought another. Of course, that meant buying a whole new shower head because, at the time, we couldn't find another mount. So we weren't terribly surprised when, five years later, the mount cracked again. I don't know precisely what it's made of, a plastic of some kind, but when looking for a new one, I wondered why they all were made of plastic too. It seemed inevitable these would fail at some point too, since the original two had. Long story short, I was hopeful when I found a metal alternative. My only qualm was fit. Would it hold the shower head arm snug? I didn't want to have to gerryrig something to keep the showerhead in place while we showered and then not have the ease of simply taking the showerhead out when I cleaned. But to my great happiness, it holds the Culligan shower head perfectly. It was super easy to install, looks great, and does exactly what I need it to do. If only I could say that about every product!

Terrific Customer Service
I bought this shoer mount and discovered that the adjustment range was not enough...the shower either hit me in the face or went over my girlfriend's head. I initiated a return and was contacted by the owner of the company. After explaining the situation he suggested I purchase an adjustable ball mount:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FPWPT23/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I did so, and he sent me a $10 refund on the $19.95 purchase. The combination of the two pieces solved the aiming issue and eliminated the leakage problem to which my old, plastic mount was prone. In addition, the mount for the shower head cradles the shower head and hose connector more snugly, stopping the shower head from pivoting by itself. In addition, the finish on both pieces is beautiful.

well build shower head
Have never used a metal shower head before, now I've seen the difference: solid build that will hold the position over time. The plastic ones will give in over usage, especially when hot water goes through. But this one, over the past two months of usage (I take shower everyday!), not even a slight movement. Will never go back to plastic head again. Highly recommend.A note: you do need to wrap Teflon tape 4-5 rounds to install the head properly, otherwise it may leak some water.

Works great
Bought this because the existing one that came with our shower head started leaking in the middle. Pinhole was created as it was made with plastic (like they all are now). This one is solid metal, like grandma used to use. And it works great! don't expect this to start having problems down the line. Very solidly build. Great product will last a lifetime and have the warranty to prove it.

The BEST!
This thing is the cat’s meow. I have gone through 3 plastic versions of these over the years and always wondered why No one made a metal version. I was pleasantly surprised to find this item and it works amazingly. A great feature is that the plastic shower handles don’t slip in the metal sleeve of this item. The cheap plastic ones would allow the plastic shower handles to slip and either spin sideways or fall right out. Can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this item. Highly recommended.

Meets All My Requirements
It's nice to find a source for quality plumbing items that are made with real chrome plated brass instead of all that cheap platischrome which is so common now. This is very well made and comes with teflon tape and a nice bag to keep it from accumulating scratches on the way. Way to go!
