What a waste of money. Me an my girlfriend bought this for our anniversary. We cannot go out anywhere due to the pandemic, so we thought we will do this to celebrate our relationship. We waited for it for so long. Ever since we found out about the lockdown. We bought this kit despite reading the bad reviews - we thought "They all probably did it wrong, we'll do it correctly". Turns out all these reviews were right. We too wasted our money. The instruction tells you to mix the alginate up to 5 minutes. It wasn't even 2 minutes while the product started to set. We quickly dunked our hands in - but it was still too late. We ended up with a pink, minty smelling lump of goo. The instruction needs to be rewritten or maybe they have to use a different kind of alginate. Anniversary ruined, girlfriend in tears...

Really not happy AT ALL! I read and re read all the instructions and got my 16 year old to read as well to be sure I'd read it correctly. I followed every instruction to the letter and it was setting before all the powder was mixed in (despite me mixing quickly) I got my hand in quickly and waited longer than recommended but the texture didn't change from the nasty lumpy mess. Once I got my hand out the hole it was in just collapsed and left me with a bowl of slimy, lumpy mess and no hand cast! Gutted!

Amazing with the after result! Love it! Easy to follow instructions step by step with pictures took less then 12 minutes for the mould to harden so didn’t have to sit so still for very long was in two minds with the results but I am very pleased!!!

The instructions are easy to follow, with the ingredients portioned out into handy sachets. In addition to the kit you need a measuring jug, two bowls and a spatula. Used to cast one hand (so used half the sachets).

The idea is very good but after two attempts I have given up as our plaster of paris hands had lots of parts missing if fingers and thumbs missing despite following the instructions precisely...I have tried to ascertain a refund as I'm not satisfied with the production n the description said money back guarantee however seller has told me to go to amazon n I'm struggling to find an email address to contact them.

Waste of money do not buy this product. Followed instructions precisely and ended up with mega lumpy casting gunk. 2nd and 3rd time even sieved the powder to make sure it had zero lumps in it. Did not set and was unusable.
