Staedtler Mars Lumograph Drawing Pencil for Design and Drafting-Pack of 12|Black

This pencil is very good for sketching.It is very smooth as well as dark.It's durability is good if you use with care.If you are a beginner then go for some low price pencils like Artline.It is good for intermediate to experts.

Beautiful and quality pencils. These pencils are pretty much the benchmark for their quality of material and standard tonal values I.e. the blackness/hardness. The casing material is of great wood quality. Mars Lumograph 100 series pencils have a little metallic lustre when drawn on paper. So, if you don't want any metallic shining on your drawings then you can buy Lumograph Matt Black series pencils instead. Both kinds have their particular usefulness and none of it inferior to the other. I love these pencils for technical drawing purposes. I recieved the box in time and in a packaging of amazon polybag. The tin box has a little dent on it but that's okay. One of the pencils (F grade) seems to have manufacturing defect. It seems it was broken and then was glued and painted over it. So that can possibly be a disappointment once I use the pencil enough to reach the point of the wood cleavage and if then it happens to be unusable. However, there is no match to staedtler for quality art supplies for professionals. An advice to beginner artists: it is always advisable to start your art journey from average quality and cheaper pencils as long as their tonal grades are consistent. I highly feel that expensive pencils are meant for professional artists if money is a constraint. Once you graduate into a better and experienced artist, go ahead and buy these beautiful standard pencils.

What comes with the package :- A Tin Can for your Pencils and 12 pencils (6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F, H, 2H, 3H, 4H). The quality of the packaging was great. There were no dents on the can, and all the pencils were in excellent condition. They were however wrongly arranged but that's okay. The quality of the pencils, I do not need to review. The brand name says it all! Perfect for intermediate artists. Staedtler lives up to it's name once again. I have attached a few photographs of my art and the package. Buy or Not buy? I say BUY BUY BUY! P.S. They come pre-sharpened, however the nibs may be broken.

The pencils are really good and quite expensive for sure!! I bought it bc i saw a lot of artists using those pencils so I decided to buy!! If you guys want such good pencils in cheaper rate thrn go for brusto pencils but stadler is definately good but one thing is that At such high range you won't get so many darker shades!! You'll have to buy another set seperately which is darker version of this one!! It got upto 6B and tbh Brustro pencils are cheaper but trust me the softness and shades are more darker if compared. I hopr this will help you guys.

I have been using this pencils since last 2 years. I Love this pencils it's very soft and unbreakable ,if you're are beginner artist or professional artist you should try this pencils Staedtler pencils are great u can create something into real life if u know how to use this pencils properly.love it you should not think twice before buying this pencils just go and get it. This pencils are soft and smooth and can blend easily

Price is disadvantage but products is good Pencil wood quality is good.

The softness , darkness of the pencils is so qualitative. Although the packaging is very good...The Tin box is also nice . Pencils are best compared to normal shading pencils
