2KG Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher

This extinguisher arrived exactly as I had hoped. It arrived quicker than estimated, so I was happy with that service. It was packaged well enough to ensure it arrived in a good condition. The nozzle and handle was protected with extra packaging. I was pleased to see it was dated Aug 2019 for its manufacturing date. I ordered it at the end of September. (At the same time as this order I ordered with the same company another extinguisher but larger, that was dated Sep 2019 manufactured. So they consistently supply recently made) The wall bracket seems strong and secure. It is easy to access and remove in an emergency. It is a simple and effective design. The dial is prominent and clear at the front to allow for easy monitoring. I chose this extinguisher for my kitchen. It is suitable for most eventualities I can think if apart from a chip pan fire, for that you need a fire blanket. The pin which goes through the handle to prevent accidentally discharging it is simple for an adult to operate. It's a good design. It is secure enough in there to not fall out inadvertently and to put off children from trying to tug on it. It is also attached to the extinguisher itself so that you don't loose the pin when it comes to refilling it. Most people would have a 1kg one for the kitchen, I chose 2kg to be extra safe. It doesn't look too out of place. It still is a perfectly manageable size and weight to use effectively in an emergency. What a bargain! The service was brilliant too... ordered late Tuesday night and had a delivery Thursday morning! How good is that? The extinguisher looks well made and I trust that it will do the job well if God forbid it's ever needed. Another important fact, it was manufactured in August this year and it now October, so this is brand new stock, not old stuff. We feel safer already. Thanks!

Arrived next day with packaging appropriate for its two kg size. A fully rated ‘ABC’ powder extinguisher with appropriate ratings & BS number. Whilst hoping never to have to use this unit .... methinks every household should have one. Just in case. Be aware that if intended for wall mounting ... a fixing kit (screws/Rawplugs) are not included. A must for every household at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Looks ok, obviously can't comment on performance and I hope I never have to, Ready for use in the house if necessary. Bought to replace one that was out of date.

I was genuinely pleased to discover just how substantial & well made this extinguisher is, including the wall bracket/strap. I was looking at the much smaller 600g ones but, I can honestly say - why bother, go for this instead. I bought this specifically for a very special car I have just bought - just in case I would ever need it !!!!!! it has already given me such piece of mind knowing that I could do something if the worst ever happened, it's better than just having car insurance alone!!! - it also could & would help others in their time of need - yeah, good choice.

Pleased with this 2kg fire extinguisher. Well packaged and manufactured in December 2020. Very inexpensive insurance and happy knowing we have it if ever needed. It's a chunky unit and does need fixing to a wall with the bracket supplied.

Absolutely superb 2kg Powder extinguisher, very well packaged and delivered next day. Bonus not shown on the spec is that the frame the extinguisher sits on also has a metal strap which secures the extinguisher firmly in place for car, van, and boats. Very impressed, great professional company, don’t bother shopping elsewhere.

Very competitively priced with prompt delivery. Seems to be of quality construction and I like the idea of the gauge as the last one I bought didn't have one so it was difficult to tell when it needed replacement.
