Super pleased
Bought this for my son for fun and we have had a blast. Coolest part is that it ejects the shells like a real gun, super easy to shoot and the quality is very good.

This did not even shoot once. My son was so disappointed. Spent hours trying to fix it.

Great idea but not functional. 1/2 bullets worked
I like the idea, but most of the shells do not load properly. We had two guns and should’ve had 16 shells, but we only had eight shells that worked with their casings. The guns shoot well. The springs in the casings would not hold the shells properly.

Not very impressive
Works but doesn’t work great. It’s an “okay” product. It doesn’t shoot very far, but my son likes it enough to still play with it. I think it’s worth a little less than what we paid for it honestly.

Realistic, Fun, but Needs Responsible Use
I picked this up in creme and black and right away I noticed how realistic it looks. From a distance it does not look like a typical bright colored toy, so that is something to be aware of. The orange tip is there, but overall it has a very detailed design. Because of that, this is definitely something that needs to be used responsibly and not taken out in public settings. As far as function goes, it is a lot of fun. The shell ejecting feature is what makes it stand out. Loading the soft pellets into the shells and then into the magazine adds an extra step compared to basic dart blasters, but it also makes the experience more engaging. When you fire and the shell pops out, it adds that extra layer of realism that makes target practice more entertaining. The build feels solid for a toy in this price range. It has some weight to it without being too heavy. The action runs smoothly once you get the hang of loading it correctly. Accuracy is decent for backyard target setups, and the pellets have enough power to reach a reasonable distance without being overly strong. One thing to keep in mind is cleanup. The shells eject and the pellets can scatter, so you will want to use this in an area where you can easily collect everything. There are a limited number of pieces included and they are small, so losing them outside in grass would not be hard. Overall, this is a fun and detailed toy for older kids or supervised use. It works well, feels sturdy, and adds more interaction than a standard foam blaster. Just make sure clear rules are in place and it is used in a safe environment.

Makes a good prop gun, won’t last as regular a toy
I was actually pretty impressed with this prop gun, but it has a few issues, and the description is not accurate. The good: From more than a few feet away it looks just like a real gun. It makes a better prop for stage or amateur video than other toys. The orange barrel still makes it clear it is fake while looking real enough to not break the illusion. The mechanical function is pretty realistic. The slide actuates with every trigger pull, fires the bullet and ejects the casing. It even locks the slide open after firing the last round. The slide release functions just like a real gun. The bad: The first round immediately enters the chamber when the magazine is inserted. Due to that, racking the slide to chamber the first round actually ejects the first cartridge. This renders it useless as a training tool because it does not function like a real gun. That said it’s fine as a toy or prop. It comes with 2 magazines but not enough cartridges to fill them. Each magazine holds 10 rounds, but it only includes 12 cartridges. As far as I can tell there is no way to order more so its is a major oversite. The “soft bullet” is actually hard plastic. It basically has no power whatsoever, but if a kid pointed it right in their eye it would definitely do some damage. Calling it “long range” is a total lie. None of the bullets travel more than 15 ft and have no power behind them. (this can also be considered a good thing) It does not fire straight by any means, so saying it can be used to practice shooting accuracy is also a lie. The bullets and casings will DEFENETLY get lost. I lost 2 in a big empty room just testing it for this review. Not having replacement parts is a major problem. Final thoughts: For the price I totally recommend it as a prop gun, but as a toy it won’t last long. Due to the lack of replacement pieces and outright lies in the description I have to knock of a star.
