Q: Does this charger have any kind of reset button? Fresh out of the box and it doesn't work. No display lights come on at all. Not a happy camper

99.99% of the time the problem is your battery, and not the charger. If your battery is defective no lights will show on the charger. It's a bad design as most people believe the charger is bad.

Q: Can it charge the various Amazon replacement 6ah batteries? The specifications state the capacity at 5ah. Not sure if one has to do with the other.

This charger will charge all Kobalt 40V batteries, Doesn't matter the ah
