This product is the just the best way to keep your wine chilled when you're taking a bottle along. When kept in the freezer, they also do a great job chilling a wine from room temperature. Simply indispensable, and accommodates a champagne bottle, too!

I keep several of these in the freezer for quick deployment. Many people assume that the fridge is the right place for white wine - but it is not. The motor vibrations are not good for it and temperatures are often 2 - 4 deg. C which is too cold - white wine should be c. 7-8 deg. C and some should be served even higher than that. Instead, store your wine in cellar conditions at 10 - 14 deg. C and then use one of these for a few minutes before serving to bring down the temp. The only downside is that it handles only normal shapres of bottles - forget Prosecco / Champers / etc. though there are others which will help those - just means you need to have more in the freezer...

I have brought this for a friend for a birthday present as I have a similar one. Until quite recently it was difficult to find these coolers but so pleased they have appeared and they are handy to take a bottle to a friend's house or on a picnic as the wine stays cool.

The title of this item states it is a rapid Ice Wine cooler, which is misleading because if the bottle of wine is warm to begin with this little pack will not cool it to the correct temperature suitable for drinking. If the wine is already chilled on the other hand it will keep it cool, so to state it is a rapid wine cooler is inaccurate.
